What could cause an oil leak?

I currently own a 2005 TSX. I have noticed that a drop of oil will drip every other day from the front of the engine on passenger side. Dealer cleaned area and said that there wer no leaks. Two days after that I noticed another drop. Could it be old oil from previous oil changes? Thanks.

It could be old oil from a recent oil change. There are lots of places for oil to pool and slowly drip from below the filter. It would all drain out in a week (if that long) or one drive through the rain though, so if this is an ongoing thing, I'd suggest checking your filter and drain bolt to make sure they are tight enough to not leak.
Other than that, a million things could cause an oil leak, so you'd have to find out where it's leaking from for us to offer much more advice. In your garage, oil will drip straight down so check directly above where you find the drop and you're likely to work your way back to whatever is leaking.

Is it dark (used) oil? I recommend checking the plastic bib that sits under the engine for oil that has pooled due to dripping from oil changes.

when you take out the filter, a lot of oil drips onto the undercover of the vehicle

some driving should knock a lot of it off

+1. Also, if when whoever did the change did not install back a washer or used an incorrect/old one then the oil could seep through and drip. Best bet is to lay a piece of cardboard on the ground. Let your car sit overnight, see if there is oil. If so, don't move anything but just jack up the car. Look to where the oil seems to be coming down from and then you will most likely (hopefully) find the culprit.
