Exclamation What is the correct HP?

Hey all. I just went on the Honda.co.uk site and took a peek at the Euro Accords which is, of course, the US TSX. The Euro Accords comes in 2 engines, a 2.0 and a 2.4. I am assuming the 2.4 is the same as the TSX 2.4. Except they state that the Euro Accord 2.4 pumps out 187 hp. I was told my '05 TSX is 200 hp. Aren't they the same engine? Are they tuned differently?

Not the same motor. Same basic layout, but slightly different tuning and fuel mappings for various reasons.

Wasn't the 2.4 in the Euro Spec Accord once rated at 190? I guess the new SAE rating caused the 3HP loss?

For the 2.4L models, JDM Accord is 200hp, European Accord is 190hp and Aussie Accord Euro is 187hp for all models from 2003-2006.

And SAE measurement is only applied in the US.
