I think either would look ok, the red being more "adventurous".

White would look nice too. Depends on how much you subscribe to that whole, 'too hard to keep clean' mentality though.

I've always toyed with painting mine white, I think it would look neato.

But then again I say things like neato. If you don't want to go too outside the box, red then. For sure.

Red stands out, black cleans then up and is understated, but can be dressed up a bit with white Acura decals, which is the route I took.

Remember that red will fade to orange and then to pink within a year or two. Black doesn't have that problem.

Is that pretty much the general rule of thumb with all of these supposed Caliper paint kits Audio? Or are some better than others?

depends on the quality of the paint you use. i've seen red calipers stay red even after a few years.

fyi, I painted mine gunmetal. imo, if i had bbk i'd show them off, but not stock calipers.

That's exactly the line of thought I had... I went black to just "tidy" the look up since 2 years had given my calipers an oxidized look... I'd didn't want to draw too much attention to the brakes unless the were a BBK - I just wanted a nice clean look. I bought white 'Acura' decals for them, but decided not to put them on...
