Only had the TSX 3 months so a lot could change, I'll probably keep it 3 years and then look at the TSX again and the 3 series. I really see myself getting a BMW again someday. Nothing handles like them but I have be prepared to handle the service issues. Next vehicle I get might be a Yamaha FJR1300- I am really liking those!

Strongly thinking about an 07 S2000. Im tryin the FWD thing but it aint working that great for me.
The TSX is nice for its own reasons, but I need more edge dammit...last two cars had hardcore appeal (MR2 Turbo, AWD DSM).

Interesting thread. I will be looking for a new car soon to replace a VW Passat (my spouse has the TSX now). TSX was an easy choice last year, but I am not sure what I would get now.
I think I will avoid BMW (too common) or Audi (Passat owner)
My choices are kind of all over the map. Camry hybrid is practical, but Cayman would be nice (no Boxster though)
I probably end up somehwere in the middle like a Lexus IS or new G35.

I may be fat but I'm slow
Lotsa posibilities.
I'm planning a move into the city soon, so I may get rid of the TSX for an old $4k Accord, or a Cherokee Classic or something else cheap to get beat on.
Or I might keep it for a long time and just wear it out.
Another possibility is to keep it for 12-18 month until I get married, and then sell it and just share my gf's Liberty or sell the TSX and the Liberty for an RDX (if we both live together in the city we only need 1 car).
Also tempted to sell the TSX for an S2000 or new PRHT Miata, but that's a long shot.
But we only plan on living in the city for a year or two, so that would mean around 2009 I'd be in the market for a new car. Then I'd probably go for the 2.3T AWD TSX if it's available, but I'd also look hard at the IS350 and the G35. I'd really like an E-class Mercedes, but those would be a little out of my league, methinks. Nothing from BMW or Audi really speaks to me.
Most likely, I'll either get a beater/share a car with the wife in the city, and then grab the 2nd gen TSX; I'd consider the coupe or convertable model if they make it.

i will keep this tsx for 15+ years, because it is pure JAPAN vehicle. 100 percent parts and labor, imported from japan. hard to find one of these cars now, it will be collection for japanese production lovers. my next car will be 2010 LEXUS IS250 or GS300 or GS330 by that time comes. it will be my wkend car. i found out LEXUS cost more but better materials used and more quiet while car is running, more smooth. i am not a old person but i will not buy the first year of new body style again. it is better to buy mid or last year of its bodystyle and bugs will be gone. plus most likely they add little stuff year after year by last year of its bodystyle, cost more with more stuff but with super price cut will end up with price of first year model!

I just rode in my firend's turbochaged Mazda RX-8 and I love it, I think i'm gonna buy it from him when he's bored of it. Either that or the new G35 coupe, depends on my financial status.

I'd like to get 7ish years out of my TSX (its an 06). But my Pathfinder is starting to get worn (5 years, 110k miles). If Jeep comes out with their Gladiator concept in 08 (might be called Scrambler), I will try to get one of those. I might not even keep the TSX if that comes out.

Got Phó?
Well ladies, i'm keeping my TSX forever. But once the Skyline GTR comes out, i'm all over that thing like white on rice. Price tag is gonna be around 70k+ i think.

Well I haven't even begun to think about my next car after the TSX but all I do know is that it will without a doubt be another Acura. I can say that with confidence

If Honda offers an excellent diesel engine in an Acura branded TSX-sized sedan, then I'll go for that. Otherwise I'll probably go with a VW diesel of some sort.

What are the chances???? . . . . .I am hoping to get an M-Coupe too!!! I originally wanted the Cayman, but the M-Coupe seems more of a masculine, aggressive design. That, and the boattail look is awesome in my eyes. . . I think I'd get Sapphire Black or Interlagos Blue. . .Funny that you want the same vehicle. . I thought I was the only one!!!
Of course, that is dependent on me either winning the lottery or coming into some big bucks!!
My second choice would possibly be the Volvo C30 or BMW Z2 Coupe (if it is ever made)
