We Need an international Exchange program!!!

OK on this board we have US TSX owners and we have Canadian TSX owners.

Do we have any Honda/Acura Canadian Dealers and Honda/Acura US Dealers that can maybe help set up some type of purchase program?

Some US residents would like to buy Canadian options and vise-versa. Anyway we could set-up some type of Pay-pal type deal for A-TSX members?

Q. I saw a feature on a U.S. model of Honda that I would like to have on my Canadian vehicle. Can I get my Canadian dealership to place a special order for me, either for the U.S. vehicle or for the U.S. part or accessory?

A. Generally, this is not possible. Parts and accessories are developed for each specific market where the vehicles are being sold. As there may be some differences between Canadian and U.S. models, there could be problems installing parts or accessories that were not specifically developed for or imported by Honda Canada Inc. Additionally, wiring harnesses in Canadian models may be different than in the "equivalent" model in the U.S., so the electrical circuitry to connect electrical parts or accessories may not exist. Honda Canada cannot import U.S.-specification vehicles for sale in Canada.

Q. If I move to the United States with my Canadian Honda, will the manufacturer's warranty be valid in the U.S.?

A. Technically, as is stated in the Warranty Guide that is provided in the glove box of every vehicle sold, the manufacturer's warranty provided by Honda Canada Inc. is only valid for vehicles that are "normally operated in Canada". However, American Honda will provide warranty coverage for the applicable warranty period if you fax or mail the following documents before you move to the United States:

A copy of a current Canadian driver's license to show proof of Canadian residency
A copy of the Canadian Bill of Sale, which must have the VIN, selling dealer name, and engine number
A copy of the Canadian permanent vehicle registration. Temporary registration is not acceptable.
A copy of the current vehicle registration in the United States.
You must contact American Honda Automobile Customer Relations (1-800-999-1009) to determine if the above applies in your specific case, and if the warranty provided by Honda Canada Inc. can be applied to your situation.

So unless your planning on moving/owning a residence in Canada... I think youre SOL.

J.

I was trying to find some sites like this for the euro/jdm accord hoping they'd have more info about some of the aftermarket stuff that exists for the euro-r and whatnot. B/c a lot of that stuff will fit our car. Specifically I want a set of KW coilovers, but would like to hear from some people who have them. So far I haven't found any sites, or maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

Now if we could get some trading going on between North America and Europe/Japan we'd definitely get some cool parts
