Washing your TSX

So what is everyone using to wash their TSX'es? We get the Griot's Garage catalogue, but my wife's used Maguire's in the past. Any one have a preference for one of the the other?

Any other recommendations?

Vale,

JohnS

yup, u should look at the car wash section of this site. I like the professional line of the meguiar products a lot. i cannot say enough good things about their products.

i've recently started using s100 since my friends have been nagging at me to try it. it is a REALLY nice carnuba wax that brings out the shine in any car like . its basically repackaged p21s. p21s is expensive, but you can get the same stuff at a harley davidson store for less than half and its called s100. words cannot explain how easy it is to work with this stuff. it gives a car such a deep wet look it makes me crazy.

I didn't see a Car Wash forum. Guess I should check around to see what other fora are here, huh?

A few quick tips. Decide whether you're a complete frickin' maniac or just a little anal. Meaning do you just want to make sure the car is good and clean yourself without damaging it, or will you be devoting days of your time to waxing etc.

I am not a waxer, my car came with a decent wax job and I handwash it and use Meguiar's spray waxy thing to give it a little lift. As my car is garaged day and night the paint looks pretty much as good as when it was new, so I'm happy with my strategy.

Here's what I do. I buy the meguiars gold class shampoo and real sheepskin mitts from target. I use 100% cotton towels (important) with long loops (nap) for drying. I use an older mitt for the wheels, and the new mitt for the bodywork. That's it.

C. <-- just a little anal
