Want to replace center console. Will old parts fit into new console?
My center console (gear shifter area) has been scratched up from years of moving around my seats and audio stuff. I want to replace it. It's part #21 in the following link: click
I just need the plastic body. Is it possible to put all my old parts of the console (inner cubby box that has the mp3 input jack, cup holder, etc) into the new console? Or woudl I probably have to buy all the parts together with just the plastic shell? I think it's doable, but I don't know whether the inner compartment with the mp3 jack will come out of my old console. Anyone done this?
