VSA on/off?
VSA on/off?
I've tried searching for something about the VSA, but it's a three letter word so it didn't work. I also tried traction control, but it didn't have much information about the VSA.
My question is: what's the difference between having the VSA on or off if you're not in a snowy or rainy season/location? The only good thing I hear about it is that for 1st to 2nd shifts, it doesn't cut off the gas if you rev it high before upshifting. Is this accurate? If so, please elaborate.
I also heard that traction was better with it off... but it doesn't make sense to me because the VSA is suppose to help with traction.
btw, I drive 6MT if it makes any difference.

Vehicle Stability Assist (If I remember right). I have had mine cut on several times while taking of from a stop at high speeds while going around a sharp corner (like pulling out into traffic) When it does it prevents peeling out, and going into a slide. If any of your wheels starts to slip it will let up on the throtle a little and/or apply the brakes to the slipping wheel to make it grip the road again.
It usually pisses my passengers off when I drive in such a way to get it to kickin though.
