Voiding the warranty

Keep in mind that the "extended warranty" isn't the same as the factory warranty, and you don't have the same protections. So, something where they might have to prove fault of your aftermarket part under a factory warranty, with the extended contract (not really warranty), different rules can apply (and probably do).
The only place I can think of to have you check for more info is Clark Howard's site, maybe.

My Acura 7 year extended warranty is bumper to bumper. The only difference between the 4 year warranty and the 7 year was it didn't cover the navi.

^^ We got the extended warranty from Acura Canada so that's why we got full coverage as the original warranty but on US, their extended warranty is third party so even it should cover under warranty they will still tell you not cover and you need to fight everytime. I learn it the hard way!
And you dun need to worry to much about the intake unless you really get into a problem that come from the intake. Also to replace the injen back to stock is easy too, so if you worry about it then just put the stock back on before back it in for warranty work.
