OK tonight this happened to me. I decided to use the voice command to change the CD, but there was no response from either button. This happened to me (well that I know of) one other time a few weeks ago. I had to restart the car and it worked again.

The problem is I rarely ever use it, so I really dont know how often its been doing this. And I havent heard this from anybody else, but is there anyone with this similar problem?

 

this has happened to me once in 15,000 miles. it worked again the next time i started my car. I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens with a regular frequency.

 

I love that thing, it really impressed the friends. When you can drive and not have to take your hands off the wheel to do anything, you know you bought the right car.

 

Every time I read about you guys and your navigation systems makes me more jealous of you and pissed off at Acura that they didn't give Canadians the option. Why Acura, why???

mine did that once also, i went into the diagnostics menu and tried to run a diagnostic test. it didnt exactly fail the test just never finished it. after i restarted the car it was fine.
i had also noticed that earlier that day the voice prompts were acting funny. no problems since

BTW i just installed my updated DVD for the NAVI i really like the new look and the rout calculation times are much improved.

 

I'm actually looking into one of those

Saw one on display and it looked pretty damn sweet.
