Vinyl on Seats
#2
There are tons of threads on this in the "Car Wash" forum. The consensus seems to be that vinlex and 303 Aerospace Protectant are the best options. Leather conditioner won't accomplish anything with vinyl, of course.

Leatherique is ok to use on leather AND vinyl.

I picked up some Vinylex(?) this weekend for use on the door panels and dash, but haven't used it yet. Is that the right stuff, and should I use it on the non-perforated parts of the seats, too?

Vinylex works fine on the non-perforated surfaces, including the seat bolsters. Just use it sparingly, and it will leave a nice finish that is not too shiny.
If you decide that you want to use just one product across all surfaces, 303 Aerospace protectant is a good option. You can get it at a decent price at carcrazy.net.
I like Vinylex just as much as 303 and use it on my tires, external trim, and all the vinyl surfaces in the car.
