Vancouver Owners

Hey Fellow TSX Vancouver owners, I recently moved here from the US and in order to pass the Vehicle Inspection, they require me to put Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the car...I went to Burrard Acura and they said they wouldn't even consider messing with the wires (how lame!)...then they told me to call Richmond Acura and they guy I spoke with quoted me $400-500 for the wiring job...and then I thought about it and thought why don't I just install fog lights instead and have them wire it so that they turn on automatically with the ignition...Richmond Acura quoted me $691 + taxes for fog lights installed...geez...that is a lot of $$$ for a Vehicle Inspection!!

Any ideas?? HELP?? THANKS!!

Sorry to hear about the hassle. I had to get Tint removed when I brought my car to BC from another Province.

I doubt you'll get much difference in price from other Acura dealers, but there are a couple of more to try:

NorthShore Acura in North Vancouver, Lougheed Acura in Coquitlam and depending where you are in the lower mainland, Acura of Langley.

Welcome to by the way!!

Just reroute the lowbeams switch with the ignition and you should be set.
