I am going to buy a 06 civic SI valve cover so I can powder coat it and I know I need a new gasket. Can I use the civic SI gasket or do I have to go to the acura dealer and get the gasket. Are they both the same ?

just buy a tsx valve cover and powdercoat it.

doesn't the civic si have a different engine?

All K series valve covers are interchangable and I like the SI on better because it just says honda instead of honda motor corp like ours and they are cheaper then the tsx valve cover.
