Hi all, I just got done with a valve adjustment. But after I started her up, I noticed a high pitched buzz/hum coming from the engine bay. Does that mean my adjustment is no good?

While determining the spacing, I've read mixed opinions about lifting the rocker. If we shove the feeler gauge between the rocker and valve pad(?), doesn't it raise the rocker anyway?
