V6 in a TSX?

I've had my TSX for about 4 months now, and my biggest grip so far is the power band. I've read about people stuffing our K24 into Civics and the like. Would it be fessible to stuff the Honda Accord V6 into the TSX?

Is it even possible?

No room for even the J30. You should wait for the 05 Hondata reflash to get the powerband you want.

why not just go for turbo? putting the j30a into the TSX is painful and it's very difficult to find the j30a with 6speed.

WTF, why would you trade an 04 TSX for an 05 TSX? Talk about taking a hit for no (good) reason...

But he took a huge loss on the trade in or exchange etc... because of the large depreciation after you drive it off the lot. Plus the HP gains were non existent because the engine and drivetrains were the same for both model years.

Oh I get it now. After you said that and I re-read STL's comment it makes sense.

Was able to trade my lease for a new one for the same price... Why wouldn't I trade the car if the lease payment was the same... For the same price per month, I get a new car...

you have to bare with it.. the cost to even swap the engine is not even worth it.

Wonder if a VR6 engine would fit? Much better torque than k24 but .... does not sound like an easy mod.

Yeah, it sounds nuts. The LAST thing you want to break down is your engine. But wouldn't it be nice to have the extra 30 ft-lb of smooth torque?

I did. Why not? It's basically an invisible mod and at $600, is well worth the money.
