Using the Sport Shift

I have a question about the sport shift. When I let the car cruise around 3100 rpm without give it any gas, then when I stomp on the gas it gives a real nice strong pull and takes off. Does that have to do anything with the torque convertor or the lack of engagment of the Torque Convertor?

What gear & speed are you in? It's probably the torque converter disengaging as you stomp on the gas. The rpm should jump about 500rpm as the TC disengages.

Its usually in any gear .. but mostly 2 nd and 3 rd gear. I forget what speed I'm at. But the kick is so strong that it jerks my head back everytime! Is this what the manual feels like?

Manual should feel better if you shift it right!
