Greetings all - been lurking here a while and have a question that many searches could not answer (and I kill a lot of time here - I have 6 months until my TSX happens...grrrrr).

Question is:

Would it be possible to replace the two small console cubbies of the TSX with the larger cubby/flip-top-12v socket set-up from the current US Accord (which the wife has). I have checked the mp3 instructions for both cars and my resulys were inconclusive, but checking out hi-res pics of both consoles shows some serious similarities...

Why do this? I want to integrate some electronics (iPod and others) into the car, and the taller Accord storage area would allow me to A. view the device when driving - track names and such (I've seen the install w/cradle in current Accords) and B. allow for a completely clean install when the console lid is closed.

Once again, I have done quite a few searches on this matter...please don't flame me on post #1...

just saw this now... i believe the tracks on both are the same although i dont know if it will line up correctly....

 

since on the subject of lights..

does the 05 US TSX S wheel controls light up??
cause on the cdn ones don't.

 

 

I was looking into this, I don't think it will fit.

Look at the width of the TSX MP3 vs. the same unit in the Accord, I think the Accord is narrower. I wanted to install the Alpine controller in my TSX, oh well.
