Does anyone know how this works? I'm referring to the features in cars (such as TL and most of the German cars) that allows you to unlock the door on a first pull of the interior handle, and a second pull will open the door.

I find this feature very convenient for me esp when I have passengers who always try to pull on the handle before I unlock the doors (and keep pulling)

If I wanted to have this feature, do I need to replace the actuator module or something?

 

I wish I have this on my TSX as well as one touch sunroof and all 4 windows too.

 

Now that you mentioned it, I wonder what's the difference between the driver's window switch and actuator and the rest of them that allows it to do the one touch up/down...

If someone can figure this out, it might be an easy mod...

I once disabled the one touch up/down feature on the driver's window somehow after I removed/reinstalled the door panel, and then I finally got it back to working state by using the remote to open then window, and then it the one touch function worked again.... weird
