Does anyone know whether the TSX TV ads are available online anywhere? I think there are at least two ads, and I'd love to find the one with the guy driving what looks like highway 1 in California.

 

I saw TSX TV adverts only the first week of July, and I haven't seen a single one since.

Regarding car commercial filming, a few years ago I read an article about a special location where many car commercials--from all around the world--are filmed in the East Bay hills near Mount Diablo (in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area). There are some windy twisty roads among rolling hils that are ideal for car commercial photography. Some foreign car companies film like to film there even if their particular model isn't (and may never be) available in the USA.

Highway 1 is a beautiful place to film too.

 

There were some ads and a test drive on my TIVO a few months ago but unfortunately I wasn't able to save them before they deleted them.

 

Knock on wood. I saw a TSX "commercial" on commercial-free TV. Apparently Acura is sponsoring some show on PBS. It was a guy day-dreaming and driving a CG going fast on twisty roads. I think the show was called "Mystery!". It was on KQED (San Francisco) Channel 9. I changed the channel after the "commercial-free commercial".

That's it, shabaaz! Thanks. I didn't like the sound of the TSX at first, coming off the sweet sound of the BMW inline 6. This ad made me rethink it.

 

 

Many of you have probably seen this one... but it's simply the coolest ad I've ever seen (Euro Accord). No computers used.

Now that I'm looking at it again, how come they get rain-sensing wipers and we don't???

I think my second favorite ad would go to a car company too - I liked that VW ad a couple years ago where everything was in sync to the music playing in a Jetta.

 

Anyway, the Acura website has a cool one. They show a MR, CG I think and a NB. It's in the multi-media section if you haven't seen it yet.
