Are you changing them out soon, cause you're only half way there until Honda recommends changing them.
At the time the plugs get replaced, the valves should be adjusted.

The TSX doesn't have a timing belt, but rather a timing chain, which doesn't require routine replacement.

so in this case you say valves need adjusting how do you do that ?

I am getting my new plugs today. Reason why im doing this is because I already had new plugs put in myself which were ngk laser iridium and i over torqued two of them which might mess with the electrode. Thats why i get shaking in the front when im in second gear hitting 3500 rpm. So i figured solution would be get a new pack of plugs and also do the valve adjustment which I need your help because I have no idea how to go about that.

Valve adjustment involves taking off the valve cover and adjust your valves to spec with a feeler gauge.

Most people just take it to the dealer or a mechanic.

There are a few members that have done their own valve adjustment...Curls comes to mind.

I would love to tackle the valves but really and honestly speaking here the car has 55 k so yea it was early to change the plugs so what does that mean when you put new ones in ? What will be affected if you put new plugs in and do nothing else ? Thats the question i should of asked. I think regardless of changing the plugs at 55k you should get no shaking and if the motor mount was broken i would be getting vibration in the cabin in my car right ?

There's nothing else that's included with a plug change. It's a stand alone maintenance item recommended at 105K miles. The valve adjustment is recommended at 110K miles, and though I had it done then (on the 05 and I'm at 133K now), my service rep kind of looked at me like I had two heads and I haven't noticed any difference in....... anything. I'm not going to bother on the 07. If they're not noisy, I'd let it go. But that's just my opinion....

Yes I understand, but I get no noise and no knocking so that eliminates the valve adjustment. Though i never got a wheel alignment after I changed my struts that could be the issue as to why im feeling the car shake when punching it to get onto the highway

I don't mean to thread jack but I have one quick question....

My car has 128,xxx miles on it and I bought the car with 124,xxx miles....

Is it safe to say that the previous owner changed the spark plugs at 105k miles and did the valve adjustment and such? If so, does that mean I don't have to worry about the spark plugs until the car has 205k miles? I mean, the car does shake while I'm on drive at a complete stop, but I think it's my motor mounts (which I'm going to replace soon)....

Sorry again for the mini-thread jack Esanchez8701....

without the maintenance records or confirmation from a service provider, its never safe to say it was done. People neglect maintenance all the time, especially the more expensive intervals.

But if the sparks plug were never changed and I'm at 128,xxx miles, wouldn't it be really obvious? Wouldn't the engine have really hard vibrations?

Perhaps not, but you could always have one plug inspected just to make sure. It really depends on how the car was driven in its previous life.

Agreed. I've replaced the plugs in both my 05 and 07 (on time), and though they (the plugs) were obviously used, they were exactly the color they should be (uniformly a light grey) they were still in good shape. Plus.... I haven't really noticed any difference in performance or mileage. That said, I would certainly do it again, but my point is that I wouldn't assume they've been replaced unless you know that for a fact even if the car still runs fine. And as stated above, there's virtually no maintenance that can be taken for granted. Unless you know that something has been done, I'd assume it hasn't been (especially if it was a leased car).
