Is the TSX your first Acura??
darth's thread about the future of the RSX and possible emphasis on the TSX as the entry-level Acura got me thinking about how many people were introduced to Acura via the TSX. There are certainly a lot of former Integra owners on here, so is this your first Acura?? It is for me.
I've owned a '89 Ford Mustang LX, '93 Nissan 240SX SE, '96 Honda Accord EX sedan, and now I own three cars. The TSX is my first Acura.
Yet the three cars I own now are all made by Honda.

This TSX is my first Acura. I had 2 Honda's in the distant past.
I was really leaning toward the G35. My wife hated it. She said it was "an old lady's car". She really wanted a BMW 3-series. I was worried about long term upkeep on the beemer.
Then, we saw the TSX, and my wife caved completely. I agreed because there were few cars we'd agree on.
We're both really pleased with this car BTW.

First Acura, third Honda. I guess I'm a loyalist, but not exclusively. I also have a GM and a Ford right now. Over the years I've owned Ford, GM, Chrysler, Mazda, Toyota, Datsun, Rambler and MG in addition to Honda.
First Acura but I have lots of Honda history. I've had:
-'78 Civic
-'85 CRX
-'94 Civic DX
-'95 Civic EX
-'97 CRV (wife's)
-'03 Pilot (wife's)
My mom had:
-'79 Accord (when they were still hatches only)
-'82 Accord sedan
-'86 Prelude
-'91 Prelude
-'95 Accord
-'97 Acura CL
…and my step-mom had an '82 Civic she loved.
Loyal? I guess.

Yep, Honda Stockholder here too...
In order of purchase:
'86 Mustang LX 5.0 5MT
No AC or power anything. RIP, I miss that torque, and this car. Raw power. Great engine.
'88 Mustang GT 5MT,
Cheaply built gas hog, very dissappointing.
'89 Acura Integra LX 5MT,
Very spunky car with great visability.
'83 Toyota Corolla 4MT
(I think), Affectionately known as "The Shitbox" nuff said.
'93 Honda Accord EX 5MT,
Nice car, smooth.
'96 Honda Passport EX 4x4 5MT,
Very cool baby hauler, but not a Honda.
'97 Acura CL 3.0 AT, Premium,
Awesome car but no MT.
'01 Acura MDX Touring w/Navi,
Still awesome and runs like new after 4yrs. Wife misses the MT though.
'93 Ford F150 4 MT,
It's no beauty but it can haul some shit.
'04 Acura TSX 6MT w/Navi, so far very cool car that combines the good attributes of the list above. It reminds me mostly of the Integra but a whole lot more power.

Started with an Integra GSR back in the old days when I was single, now have an MDX, a TSX and a TL (coming this week, I hope). I guess you can say I'm an Acuraphile or whatever. Had a couple of Bimmers in between but always come back to Acura.
This is my fist Acura. Other than the windshield rattle problem - the car is great! I don't want to sound like I don't really like the car, because I really do, but if they don't fix the rattle soon, it will probably be my last Acura.

Second Acura for me, 4th Honda, though.
I had an '87 Integra LS (5MT)...most fun car I'd ever driven, plus, I drove it until it had about 192K miles on it and it never gave me any problems. That's why I'm in another Acura today.

My TSX is both my first Acura AND my fourth Honda.
Afterall, Acuras are all Hondas everywhere outside of the North American market. Perhaps two exceptions would be the Canadian market Acura EL (basically a posh Civic sedan) and the ill-fated Isuzu-based Acura SLX, which isn't a Honda anyway.

Was going to get another Oldsmobile but they're going extinct or allready is.
Previously had (parents):
1988 Olds 98
1998 Olds Intrigue
Seriously considered an 03 Tundra v8 (not practical for me), then Mazda 6s (until I test drove it). Then dawned on me there were two brands of cars we don't have dealers in my area, Acura (1hr away) and Infiniti (1.5 hrs away). Logged onto Acura's website and
I had quite the list of cars I looked at, but the TSX is my first Acura and import. Looking forward to getting an MDX (or a Honda Pilot) later on. After my TSX, it didn't take much to convince my brother to get a TL when its his turn to buy a car.

never posted my own car lineage...
1984 Volvo 240 DL
1997 Saturn SL
now...
2004 Acura TSX
I suppose that next I will need a car from one of the remaining 3 populated continents - what's a good South American brand??
Oh, and the woman has a 2003 VW Passat V6. Her prior car was a 1995 Saturn SL2. Saturns were good cars then. Really. No, really.
