TSX Vs RSX??
so me and her went to the Acura dealership today...apparently she still hasnt gotten her liscense yet..i was just made aware of this last nite..she'll be getting it very soon though. There were no TSX's on the lot..there was a used base model RSX; i drove it, its preety peppy for the base, she liked it as well. But then we went inside and there was a nice white TL sittin in the showroom and she immediately fell in love with it. So we drove a TL (5 speed auto, neither her or i know how to drive stick) that was on the lot...interior is PIMP like no other!...but iono, the car felt just as fast (and handling wise) as my 6, even though it has quite a bit more power. I wonder how the 6 speed is....maybe ill drive it when i learn stick, lol. Anyways, now she has her heart set on a TL and my dad is willin to buy one for her. She just has to get a bit better at drivin though; in the meantime, i get to borrow it...
. Im also tryin to get my dad into a RL as well

so my dad changed his mind..its the TSX finally (decided afterall that he doesn't want her to get a bigger car). I talked to the dealer here in town, he said there are no TSX's left in CA and that they won't be commin in till the first of the year...was he just bullshitting me?? Or is that really true??...Cause i was gonna check with dealers down in LA/socal.

And might I even suggest a lightly used one still covered under the factory warranty.
Yeah, call around, the more you call, probably the better deal you'll find as well.
Don't by used. At a dealership, the price you're gonna pay for a used one, you could drop in a grand more and get a brand new one.

If the car was for a 16 year old guy and not a sister, then i'd say get the tl but a new girl driver needs something with a weaker engine. Not to flame on any women on here, but girls can't drive...at least the ones i know. My first car was a TL-S and it was perfect for me...now i have a g35.

so its final..its gonna be an ABP TSX with ebony interior and navi for her. Im not sure what dealer we are gonna get it from though. When it comes in to the local dealer, she'll go with my dad to see it in person, as the 05's aren't into CA yet. So yep, there will be a 6 and a TSX in the same house..with possibly a TL or RL for my dad...BTW, the RL is hella pimp!

for ITR
So i think she'll be getting the TSX sometime this week...i think she wants silver after all..even though i think white and ABP are the best colors (there is a white with ebony and navi in town, but she doesn't want it). When she get it..i'll post pics and what not...i may end up borrowin it for a while cause she hasn't learned how to drive good yet, so we'll see.

want small? How about a Lotus Elise or Honda S2000?
But seriously, I agree with many, the Scion tC is a good choice. Another good choice is the Mazda 3. Personally I will always love Toyota, Honda, and Nissan and trust them with my cars, but you own a Mazda, so it would work for her.
The Acura RSX is a nice one, but I personally think it isn't worthwhile unless it's a Type-S. The RSX is too much money for what a Scion tC or Mazda 3 can be.

So my sis got the TSX last nite...me and my dad drove down to Keyes Acura in Van Nuys to buy it..its red, auto..with navi and ebony interior. Price was $27375 before TTL. All in all.. a sweet lookin ride and the perfect complement to my 6..now we have 2 of the best sports sedans under the same roof.

Excellent price..
i'll do the comparison when i get back home..im at school now 200 miles away, lol. But i reved it for a bit..sounds really nice though..not as deep as my 6, but im assuming thats cause of the 4 cylinder in the TSX. I want the navi and that XM radio though!!!!

The Legacy GT would also be nice, but definitely get AUTO.
My brother had a new RSX for 2 weeks before he totaled it (he was 18, I think). It's a nice car, but very uncomfortable in the back seat (no friends will want to come along) and it's small (i.e. not as safe as a larger car, like the TSX).
The TSX is a great car, but definitely not for the HS parking lot. It will get dinged, since it lacks the protective plastic bar on the sides.
My first car was the family 4Runner. I still think an SUV is best for a first car.
