TSX vs. Maxima

I just bought a TSX (Cobalt auto w/ NAV = $27,200). Other cars I considered:

G35 - $9000 more to get NAV - which is an ugly pop up!
IS250 - $7000 more with NAV - didn't bother testing!
BMW - $8000 more with NAV though the maintenance being included is seductive.

The car that came closest for me was the MAXIMA which is more powerful and has cool features like ventilated seats and power folding exterior mirrors and is a bit better looking but to get with NAV, even with an employee purchase discount I got from a friend, was STILL $5000 more. Plus it's too big because i have a small garage.

The TSX seems like the best value for a teched out car.

Congrats on your purchase. IMHO, I do NOT think Maxima is better looking than the TSX.

i, personally, like the maxima design.

but the maxima interior is <<<<<<<<< tsx interior.

i almost bought a smoke/black leather maxima, and the suede along the interior is fugly. the parts (especially the center console) look cheap. i was afraid i'd scratch it by just touching it.

acura does make the best navigation. the one in the maxima wasn't horrible...but i just like the layout in my tsx's better.

Took a Maxima SE for a 300+ mile business trip. It was a rental, but aside from the random stains, the interior design is horrible. And sure the car has power, but if you try to use any of it, it damn near tries to pull you off the road. Plus, it feels way too heavy. I like the nimble feel of the TSX and that's something that I will look for in any car I own.
