TSX Trunk Triumphs

Prior to buying my TSX, I read reviews that the trunk was a bit *cough cough* "inadequate." I am however proud to say that my trunk has not disappointed me yet and it passed with flying colors during it's most recent test:

- 1 sealed subwoofer enclosure which holds a 15" sub
- 1 8000 BTU Air Conditioner in box
- Various goodies from the local wholesale warehouse

I'm happy to say everything fit into the trunk just fine and I had no issues whatsoever. I must admit that as I was walking to my car that I realized I had the sub in the trunk and was worried that I would be S.O.L. with the a/c and that I would have to go home, take out the sub, and then go back to the store to pick up the a/c. But alas...

I'd like to hear your stories of confounding cargo that your TSX's trunk conquered

I've been able to fit a few dead hookers in there since you can fold them a bit better when they're dead.

I too am happy with our trunk space.

Pfft, that's nothing.

I fit luggage for 4 ppl in the trunk and also had room for some christmas gifts and a small "6-pack" cooler for snacks along the way. One of the gifts was a squirrel trap, which was about 28" x 8" x 8", so it wasn't exactly tiny.

Should have taken a pic -- it was a miraculous feat. My wife looked at me after I showed her the job and was like "holy crap, that is seriously unbelievable". LOL

I fit luggage for 4 as well into my trunk. Was quite a feat with no wasted space. I could feel the truck having to "compress" the luggage a little bit so that it would catch onto the latch.

all i can say is that for not having large enough gaps and all the time i spend cursing at acura and the car for not being able to fit my bike rack, it has taken every bike ive needed to carry inside.
so i have to say i am quite happy. as for the trunk gaps, someones going to hear it once i findout who decided that

TSX trunk > Costco or Sam's Club

I can shop all my Costco needs in my TSX, maybe except for the trampoline or the Jacuzzi.

Psh... that's nothing, my friend. I wish I had pictures from when I drove between school and home this year. Needless to say, I used EVERY inch of space in my trunk and back seat.

The trip from school to home is the ultimate test, which the TSX passed with flying colors.

It was for my father in law. He's got a nice pond and stuff, with birdfeeders as well, but the damn HUGE neighbourhood squirrels always come and eat all the bird food. So, he asked for one for Christmas.

Supposedly has caught 8 of them so far (just relocates them to a golf course about 5km from his house).

LOL, but yeah its funny eh? My version of a squirrel trap would be a pellet gun.

Seriously it fits ???? How big where they?

I gotta take my mom to the airport in San Fran (from Sacramento) this thursday, and it looks like the truck will only fit one of the luggages. My mom packs a suitcase till it won't close anymore. It's seriously bulging and is just barely below the 70 lbs mark. I gotta fit a large duffel type bag and a large suitcase. I was thinking the suitcase in the rear, and the duffle in the rear seats.

Pellet Gun + Large Squirrel = 1 Large Pissed Off Squirrel with plenty of free time on his paws. P.S. He has friends.

Don't worry about it. We all think that they'll fit - no problem. So if you can't make them fit... try harder. Mind the speakers. Leave early.

My trunk is big enough to hold just about anything that I need it for. Except for my 32" HD LCD TV that I double and use as my computer screen too.

lol...my friend bought a G20 just recently and to be honest, there really isn't a back seat in that car at all (at least foot room wise).

I would HIGHLY reccomend the trunk tray liner for this.

Don't ask.

Yes, but from my experience, they tend to get too stiff after several hours and you cannot fold them properly. So act quickly.

Just came back from a weekend in the great north woods of New England, and the TSX's trunk was crammed with stuff. Pleanty of room. No dead hookers this weekend though.

Just got back form camping as well. Wife, myself, and our 11-week old daughter. That was was loaded to the tits with stuff and we still managed about 30mpg. There was wheel tuck on the way there only - that's how much beer we consumed (mostly me, as my wife was breastfeeding, LOL).

Surprisingly lots of trunk room in this car if you pack creatively.

Didn't actually camp, was staying at a rented condo in Killington, VT. OK not exactly the north woods but might as well be when you live in central MA!
