Issaquah/Sammamish check the plateau out.

(psst! Seattle averages 35-40" of rain per year.... most East Coast cities get more... NY averages 47")
Or you can totally avoid the East Side and it's very cookie-cutter-ness and move into Seattle itself (depending on where the job is).
Lately, I'm seeing more silver TSX's in downtown Seattle. And a blue one as well.

oh yes it's beautiful here...
the amount of rain has next to no relevance to one's mood. the key weather stats that should make you excited to move to Seattle are cloudy days and the number of days on which it rains -
226 cloudy days per year (that means no sun all day - yep all day) - this is top 5 in the US - yes TOP 5 in dullness behind only Anchorage, Forks, Astoria and Olympia. and then rainy days - 140 days of rain - yes that is another top 20 result. Prescription anti-depressant usage is the highest in the US.
Also on the driving front be prepared for the worst urban planning i have seen in the developed world and believe me i have travelled a whole load more than the average WA dweller, a monorail that will be built in the wrong direction and if you live in King County you will be paying for on your car tabs, and car pool lanes on the right so that you risk an accident at every exit - pure genius that one.
Furthermore the culture of drivers is to pause at every merge and cautiously wait for something to happen, and to sit in the right lane at 60mph.
My recommendation - Buy a high powered late model sportbike to amuse yourself on the few dry days and keep a schedule of alaska flights to California.
Although i guess next to Kansas some things may be relative :-)

Been up north to Vancouver lately?
I would give up my left nut for an extra lane or two on our freeways. Everytime I drive through the Seattle area, its a breath of fresh air.

for $350K you'd need to move to further south, or further north to get a good house with 2500sqf. Bothell/MillCreek area is pretty good. And it's not in King county. Traffic on 405 will be bad though. Traffic is bad everywhere, actually.

I'm noticing more and more on I-5 these days.
By the way, jojo77 has opened the door for another Seattle area meet. Please go to the "meet and greet" area and chime in with your .02.

My front windshield go hit by a rock, and it's already started to crack across the passenger side. Looks like I will need to replace the front windshield.
Does anyone have any recommendations on where to have it done? I live and work on the Eastside (Redmond area). Geez, the car is only 3 months old, and I have to replace the OEM windsheild!

I replaced my windshield at Novus in Issaquah. They did a great job and worked with my insurance company. I even got a free rental car for the day.
Did you go with an OEM Honda glass, or an aftermarket one? I'd love to keep it OEM, but I fear my insurance company will not pay for an OEM glass. I'm afraid that when I bring my car into the Acura dealer to solve the familar passenger side pillar rattle, that they will blame it on my aftermarket windshield.
