Working on the Lexan fog lights (and oil change).

I believe my clunk is the front drivers stabilizer bar link. The rubber boot is split and there's some play.

Much easier (and cheaper) than struts.

Lenses replaced. Total pain in the a$$, but we're pleased with the results.

Also, the clunk was in fact the drivers end link (went ahead and replaced both). Out of all the suspension work I've done, replacing the end links was the easiest thing I've done.

Great work Jdrum1, just wondering about that front end clunk, can you describe it a bit more? I'm also experiencing a clunk there too, but it happens when I aggressively turn right over bumpy pavement. Is this when you were getting it too?

The clunk was the same regardless of how the wheel was turned. Once you got fast enough (maybe around 30mph) it went away (or at least wasnt audible). While audible, it didn't transfer any noticeable vibrations to the steering wheel.

Once I got the drivers side link off, I could see that both bushings were cracked open. The passenger side was better, but one bushing was starting to split.

Do you know where to find the end links? It's pretty easy to see if the ribber is splitting. Also, grab the link and see if you can shake it around. It can be a pita to diagnose suspension noises!

Here's some pics for you;
