I think the TSX soaks up bumps ok, but you can get some hop during cornering, and the ride gets very busy on rippled pavement. Sometimes, hard bumps knock it of course.

Only thing I found to give me back pains was the armrest too low for me, but I went to a friend of mine who works with leather, and he is fabricating a small leather cushion 2" thick and 6" X 9", with dense foaming inside. I hope it will resolve my back pains.

The ride is pretty much perfect as is, not too choppy and not too floaty. The seats are great, much more comfortable than my MDX and I thought those seats were good before. The only thing I would change is to lower the dash...so damn high for a Honda.

Ehh...stiff, but absorbs medium sized bumps quite well...rippled pavement will shake your jaws loose, and big pot holes will render you unconcious for a second. But in my taste, I want it stiffer...like Mini Cooper S.
As for the dash, I guess a man's meat is another man's poison (did I say it right?). I love the dash, never had a better driving position. Considering my height and size, normal dashboard height is way too low. Just for reference, in 2002 Accord sedan, the pointy edge of the center console is poking right into my knee with the seat adjusted to furthest/lowest position and steering tilted to the highest, whilst I still can't put my legs under the steering but only besides it...

(I hope you won't have trouble with any more of my abbreviations!)
I've been using PFG for many years. Don't know if anybody else does. Anyway I'll say this: I'm complimenting you.

I don't know BOFH either, dudes!
Nor PFY.
But about the one that I said, "PFG" -- I started it a long time ago, even before Al Gore invented the internet:
"Pretty f------ good."

I installed springs on my TSX and I DEFINATELY miss the stock comfort. Although, I dont mind sacrificing a little comfort for some added performance. And plus, it looks alot better than stock height.

"It's a desert topping."
"It's a floor wax."
"It's BOTH! New Shimmer is a desert topping AND a floor wax!"
I'm with Larch. The handling's right in the middle.
BTW, the saying is "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

BTW -- Back in college, in one of the dining rooms (we really did have one place that really had what you'd call a dining room), we had this great fruit punch, and on a regular basis I spilled it on the wood table. By accident I discovered that it gave the wood a great shine.

With Buick at the boat-like-ride end of the scale, and the Nissan Altima 3.5SE at the other end, I give the ride a 7. It's firm and controlled, but not harsh, except if you hit some freeway expansion strips that are in need of repair.
