To be fair, I got this dejavu feeling reading the review. I don't know if its because I read many reviews prior to purchasing my TSX or if this review is too close, almost word-for-word, to some review I read in the past. I haven't made any comparisons but it may be a reprinted review from another source. However, if it is then they should have given credit to the original source.

I did a quick Google search on a few portions of the review, and nothing turned up that's anything close to verbatim. Anyway, yeah, a lot of it is similar to what a lot of other reviews said, but then again most of the reviews sound alike, especially the portions where they're just describing the car.

If there's one particular part of the review that you're talking about, how about just picking out a couple of phrases from it and googling it? That'll tell you real fast if it was a real rip-off.

I'm hardly the world's biggest TL fan, but gotta tell ya, I don't think ANYBODY hasn't gotten better than 7.2.

Let's see.... Just got my copy of Consumer Reports, the issue where they review the TL.
Let's see what they got................ 6.7 sec.

And I bet that 6.7 was the Auto. The 6MT is high 5's, low 6's.

Definitely. MT got the Accord V6 to go from 0-60 in 7.2 seconds, and you know the Accord only comes with an automatic in sedan form. Edmunds got a flat 7.0 seconds 0-60 time by turning off VSA and stomping the gas pedal. They even wrote that no brake torquing was done to achieve that time.

I don't see how the TL, with a stronger engine and an available MT, could be slower than the Accord.
