TSX reliability (currently)

2004 TSX, 67,000 miles. I wouldn't trade this car for anything.
Issues:
- Center Console Lights died, replaced under warranty (Same exact thing happened to my sisters '03 Accord)
- Drivers Side Door Actuator Died at 60K, paid for out of pocket ($250)
- Had a few small issues, including sunroof shade rattle (replaced under warranty) and heated seats lights/shifter lights dying (all replaced under warranty)
I've put 7,000 miles on it since Easter Sunday and not a single issue whatsoever.
Change the oil and do the minor preventative maintenance on it and it will last you far longer than you will want to keep it.

2004 with zero problems until the center stack lights just went out today. didn't realize it was an issue until I came back to the boards (after not being here for quite a few years).
other than the center stack lights i've had zero issues (knock on wood). just as reliable as any other honda i've owned.

04 mt tsx with 136,000 miles. bought it with 128,000 miles from 2nd owner. Havnt had any problems so far. 2nd owner said he replace a/c compressor, cluch, and front wheel barrings were making noise so he had them replaced. but other than that i believe thats the only problems. although the the first owner had the vehicle up till 28,000 miles so who knows then.

My 2004 Experience
I got mine late in 2004 so I probably missed out some initial problems but mine has now given me 53,000 relatively trouble free miles. Under warranty I had a few things fixed like a rattle, center console lid, replaced coil spring, passenger side locking mechanism ... nothing major. My warranty has been out for 1 year now & no problems since *knock on wood*

06 TSX with Navi and +59,000 miles
- Bouncy hood at hwy speeds (fixed under warranty, 1st month of ownership)
- Car pulled to the left, front end alignment (fixed under warranty, 1st month of ownership)
- Son’s Sony PSP car charger shorted out the 12-volt plug while on vacation (fixed under warranty in Colorado)
- Slight squeak in steering wheel when I turn it to the max early in the morning when cold.
I stick with the M.I.D. maint schedule and do all unscheduled maint:
- Use Mobil 1 5w-30 extended performance oil.
- K/N air filter, clean twice a year in the spring/fall
- change windshield wipers every spring
- change Tranny oil every 30,000 miles
- change cabin filter every spring
- New rear brakes at 45,000 miles
- New tires at tires at 42,000 miles (HIGHLY recommend Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position)
- uses no oil between changes and no visible fluid leaks
I had zero problems with the A-Spec suspension or Progress RSB in over two years. Front end still looks new after 3 years with 3M clear bra (head/fog lights clear bra starting to get a slight film on them).
The only thing I’ve notice is the engine temp gauge use to be about ¼ for about the first 18 months and now it shows about 1/3 on the gauge. Acura tech said everything checks out A-OK.
Unless I win Powerball Lotto, I will keep this car for +150,000 miles.

I recently had a problem so I might as well chime in.
I have an '06 with 75,000 miles. Just had to change the battery and a couple of fuses. Battery died on its own, but the fuses are my own fault for not checking on my sister's jumper cable placement before trying to jump start it
Other than that, no problems to speak of, other than a cheapo depot tint that was on it when I got it.

240k miles on my 04 and its still going strong and engine running great. I still get enjoyment every time i drive it so i plan on keeping it for the long haul. I keep the oil changed and just did all the fluids and new spark plugs. Knock on wood this car is still great i have no regrets.
