TSX RC's

Ok, maybe i'm a bit of a TSX freak, but does anyone know of any TSX RC Cars or moddable kits like those from XMODS? I've only see the RSX.

This way I can drive around my TSX when i'm not driving around in my TSX!

Again, yes, i'm a bit of a TSX freak.

I'd be interested as well. I've wondered several times if one was available.

Almost bought a used Ferrari F50 at a Toy show a few weeks back but decided to hold out for the TSX.

come to think of it.. maybe there's one available for the Euro or Japanese Accord?

My thinking is that the TSX just isn't "sporty" enough. (a.k.a ricey)

I'm into the R/C hobby...buliding and racing 1/10th scale radio controlled cars...and I'm still waiting for one of the companies such as HPI, Pro-Line, or PROTOform to come out with a 1/10th scale TSX body!!! I'll be the first in line when it comes out

I have an HPI Savage 21 monster truck. It doesn't handle as well as the TSX but it can jump a lot higher and a LOT louder!

I've been looking for the Acura TSX and Honda Accord Euro-R bodies for a while now with no luck...
The only think I could find was a Mazda 6

lightning pro, 2.5 tmaxx. both of em been taken apart one too many times than put together, aka my t maxx and lightning are more parts thatn an actual car. but ya if ya want to do some drifting, learned a neat lil trick... get some tape, stoch tape is the best and tape then in the center of the tires in the rear and outsides of the front wheels, then letter ripppppp(did this on the lightning pro)

p.s. but besides the point, ya it would be AWESOME if they came out with a tsx body, but they may already have one out, maybe a euro or japanese accord????? no clue, but just an idea.

If you have a 1/10 scale nitro or electric, there's a company called Ride that makes a TSX body. It was the hot setup for awhile. The rc car body competition is pretty fierce right now. I have a Mazda 6 and an Alpha body for my TC3. They were what everyone was running, then the TSX won some big races, and boom, backorder central. I'm pretty sure they're back in stock. If you google it, it may be listed as a Ride Accord, but it's a TSX. That reminds me, I still gotta get one for myself.

ya if any of ya r interseted in rc, get a nitro buggy 1/8 scale. it the positively the best of both worlds. its the f1 of offroad and does pretty darn well for onroads too. plus drifting is no problem for that thing.... thats the only reason y i havent sold my r/c's yet. all bec of drifting and fun in the snow w. the rc's

p.s. now if i can gather the effort to put my rc's back together.

I have nitro hpi racing with 94 ACCORD R/C, love it. I want to buy TSX R/C someday when they are in stock. Nitro is more faster than electric but electric is easy to play.

Is this the Ride accord body you were talking about?

The shells should come clear and you should be able to paint it any color you want.

My bad 3Pedal, just saw your post. It took me awhile to find some too. Found out one of the keywords is 190mm.

search terms: 190mm ride accord

Alright...so I searched more into the bodies...
but they are not that detailed when compared to HPI bodies.

The Ride Accord has a similar shape to the TSX/Accord, but when it comes to detail there is no match to HPI.

HPI PLEASE MAKE A TSX OR EURO-R ACCORD BODY!!!

Yep...That's the body. Atsushi Hara is a badass and he runs that body. He's sponsored by HPI/HB and wins almost every race or is in the top 3. I'm not crazy about his paint scheme, but he's ran it as long as I've been following the hobby. I remember the first time I heard about a TSX body, I was stoked to say the least. It looks like there still hard to find though.

Those bodies are nowhere near the shape of a TSX. The only thing that represents TSX is the headlights and grill. IMO, the best representation has always been Tamiya, but too bad they don't made one for TSX.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are writing.
It doesn't really matter what company makes the shell, cause they are all made of plastic. You can put a Ride shell on an HPI chasis, an HPI shell on a Yokomo chasis, Tamiya, doesn't matter. Some things you need to look out for is the size of the shell (190MM, 200MM etc etc), some won't work with whatever setup you are using (clearance issues).
Hope that helps out.
