Price????

I just reread this post along with some others. Wanted to point out that this car is an 05 not an 04. How much are people paying for 05s out there? This dealer will not seem to budge at all below $27,000 for an 05 with no navi, silver, with quartz interior. Is $27,000 too much to pay for an 05?

Way too high considering back in May of 2003, one month after the car was introduced, people were able to get the car at $500 over invoice. That just seems way too high.

i swear i was my dealers dream customer. i literally walked in one day, said hi im interested in a tsx or tl. test drove both. said i can only afford the tsx with navi, how much is it. and signed the papers.

the only thing that happened to me that they might have been annoyed at is that the salesman ended up having a fight with the manager the day my car arrived and walked out, and i told the guy who took over that he had promised me free all season mats. they gave them to me still, but didnt sound too happy about it.

I also hear about all these people putting 1000 or 500 dollars deposit on the car. I ordered my car in November and it arrived in february and i only put a 100 dollar deposit down. is that even normal?

That free stuff crap routine must be universal. When I got mine I was supposed to get free mud guards and trunk tray. After the papers were signed I was told that they couldn't give me the free stuff because my deal was so good. I gave them a blank stare and after he spoke to the manager, I got the free stuff. It must be a gimmick to make you feel like the dealer really likes you or something....

No he is saying if you don't get the car for $25500-ish before tax you are getting ripped off because no one on this site payed asking sticker for the car. Even when it was brand-brand new and rare.

You should just look for another dealer, give yourself some room for various colors and just get the nav or non-nav or your budget and take the first ride you can get for your set budget.

Finding numbers???

I just did some searching on this board and am finding people leasing a TSX for 48 months at about 350. Seems like that computes to around 27,000 when you plug it into the spreadsheet. Maybe the dealer is telling these people they are getting the car for 25,000, but the numbers on a lease like that seem to come out different. I may just end up getting an Accord, but seems like maybe some people are paying a little more than they thing for the TSX?

Mine is a 2004. But considering the MSRP increased only by $500 between the 2004 and 2005 MYs,, it shouldn't make that much of a difference. I think you're getting screwed by your dealer because it is the only Acura dealer in the area.
