tsx oil filter part #

Have any of you guys used a Mobil 1 oil filter? I'm looking to change to one at my first change, but I can't seem to find the right part #. I've read that it's M1-104. Which is supposed to be the same as the '03 Accord 4cylinder. The '03 Accord is M1-110, along with the RSX.

I just use the Honda filters now. I've used the Mobil ones and have noticed no real improvement. Unless you think that Fram hasn't designed a good enough filter for Honda to slap their name on it.

Honda Fram=junk
Fram=junk

Either the filtech filter or japanese filter period there is a difference in quality here. Most dealerships are cheap and will by the cheap filters. Big difference when you see the cut aways of each filter.

the OEM filter assembled in the USA are fine... so are the JDM ones... it's the canadian ones that are just an upgrade over fram.

anyway, i can't remember who said it but Honda supposedly has stopped creating 3 OEM oil filters. I think they went on the cheap side. If you want a really good filter then get the Mobil 1 or Amsoil filter. If you are good about changing your oil and drive the car "normally" then stick with Honda filters. You will not harm your car.

i already bought my oil filters from the acura dealership in advance.. so every 3000 miles i go for a filter change.. the question is was it worth it.. buying the filters in advance and thus making the price about 50% off.. or was it stupid because the acura's filters sucks???
