The other day (and again this morning), I was watching TV and this Midas commercial came on. It started with a crash test engineer buckling up a crash test dummy and telling it 'Sorry'. The car looked like either a 06/07/08 SSM or CGP (lighting made it look medium grey). He goes to the control panel and you see a couple front and rear shots of the car before he sends it toward the wall. You watch from the side as the dummy slams on the brakes just in time to avoid crashing. Then queue standard Midas stuff.

Anybody else see this commercial?

I saw it, I was going to post a thread about it but I forgot...on take off, the TSX sounds like a ferrari.

 

Saw it. Thought the wheels were ugly.

 

I've seen it many times. Noticed the TSX right away. I love seeing our car on TV.

 

I was going to post this last week.

If you have a PVR, pause it at a few key points and you will notice it's a EURO ACCORD. Why they used one, I don't know. But I clearly saw the H badge on the grille, the interior was missing the Homelink buttons (IIRC), and a few other things. Definitely not the TSX, definitely the Euro Accord. Oh, and the headlight marker light reflectors were the icy-blue, not orange like in North America.

Maybe they filmed it in Europe?

 

PS It must be a Canadian commercial since the only people to respond as having seen it are from Canada.

 

maybe the tsx was referred to midas because of our unfortunate premature warped rotor issues, lol

 

Seen it here in Vancouver too. I thought is was SSM, but it was kind of amusing when my 2 year-old started pointing at the TV and yelling, "New car! Daddy new car!" Mine's graphite, not silver.
