TSX Manuel

Can someone post a pdf of the TSX's manuel or does someone have alink to it? I need to know how to take out my storage bin and access the 6 disc CD changer, I think either a fuse is blown or I hear the spinning of the CD's inside and possibly one is stuck? what do you guys think.

Better for a/v forum, but since i'm here...

The 6 cd changer is part of the HU. It's not a seperate unit that you would mount elsewhere like under your seat. If you want to get to it you have to take the Head Unit out and dismantle it.

But if you still want to take the storage compartment out it's easy. Put your transmission in neutral, empty it, then put both hands on the inside sides, push outwards and pull it straight out. So basically you just pull it straight out. What exactly is the problem.

well my CD player keeps saying error, yet I keep hearing "cd changing" noises, so I think a CD is stuck in there. The loading and ejecting buttons aren't responding either. I only hear those noises when I start up the car.

hmmmm......doesn't sound like a fuse is blown. Sounds like a cd is stuck. Do you have nav? I don't remember seeing a little reset button anywhere. You might try unplugging the battery to see if that will reset it. You will lose your presets though. Look for a tiny tiny little dot on the front of the HU and press it with a pen if there is one. That might reset it. Or take out the storage compartment and reach under to the rear and unplug it from behind for a minute. If that doesn't work, it sounds like you have to take it out and dismantle it for your cd.

yeah I have nav and i'll try finding the reset button, at first I thought it was a fuse, but last night I was driving and saw two lights on the lip of the spot that u load the cd into, so It has power and everyhing, when I say "Play CD" it comes up on the nav screen but on the little area with the time it says "CD ERR" so its prolly stuck

Dude...... take it to the dealer. You dont want to start messing with a indash 6disc. Everything inside that unit has to be line up perfectly to work. Are u still under warrenty? The will fix or replace it for free.

It's doubtful that the dealer will replace it under warranty. Take it and see how much they'd charge you.

^^^ I forgot about that! See....it just aint the same is it Try unplugging it first still. Then look for the reset. If none of that works take a few screws out and get your cd's out of there.

I'm not sure there is much you can do unless you're willing to take apart the CD changer. The unit is expensive to replace. You might want to consider getting a SNHOND3 and just hooking up something to the AUX input.

If you want to take apart the dash and take the nav unit out, let me know. I pretty much know the removal instructions off the top of my head. Good luck!
