Does anyone know if the manual kit that you can order off the Acura Owners website includes the nice little fake leather binder and whatnot? I need to order one b/c they stole my manual when my car got broken into

Also, in the meantime I need some instructions on the homelink button setup. Is there a PDF version of the manual floating around anywhere? Got a new garage opener and wanted to toss it and just use the built in homelink stuff if possible

i still dont know how to set the homelink.

 

On my garage door opener (Genie), you need to press a button on the main unit in order to add additional remote controls. There is an LED next to the button. The LED flashes when you first press the 'program' button, and is constantly lit when it has acknowledged the new remote (by pressing a button on the remote when the LED is flashing).

So basically:
1. Press the button on the main unit, the LED next to it will begin to flash.
2. Press the desired button on the homelink which you want to use to open the garage.
3. Now the LED is on the main unit will be constantly lit... you should be able to use your homelink opener now.
