TSX Lip spoiler pics

looks gooood!
I think it adds a nice touch, vs. the factory one which I think looks good, but is just a tad too much, slightly interferes with rearward visibility, and costs like 3 to 4X as much installed.

Hey Accsueprstar, thanks for the loooong awaited pics!
I was wondering about the length again. Looks like from the pics that the spoiler is just a wee bit short. I have seen on e-bay, (from the same person you got yours from) a spoiler that was 46 3/4 and one that was 47 inches long. Do you think either of these would span the trunk lid entirely or would they overhang? Also, how much "out of curvature" was the spoiler compared to the TSX trunk lid?

i cannot say for sure. i would stick as close to 46 as possible. i had to bend the spoiler some to get it to fit. cant say how much but lets just say that w/o a bend it was pretty much flush to the trunk lid. also when installing bend it to how you want it and then get a friend to put asking or electrical tape along the curves of the spoiler on the trunk so you can see where it neds to go when applying it after you remove the tape. took about 10 minutes to put on and i am very pleased with the result

Sorry to resurrect all of this, but I've searched all the threads and I can't find the answer to my question. I'm getting ready to install the spoiler, and my question is this: Which works better, putting the tape on the spoiler first, or on the trunk lid where you want to stick it on first?
