correct, cost savings of implementing mag in production. however, mag itself is still more costly as a material than alum, though the prices are dropping as mentioned in the first quote

i think this horse has been beaten enough. time to let this thread die in oblivion

Think it has nothing to do with mag. Has to do with an allocated cost per unit with all overheads and whatnot accounting tricks. If they only sold just one MT, it would cost millions of dollars. Think MT share is 10% of total.

AT is $1,000 price premium so forget magnesium and start thinking carbon fiber or something.

Over here in Australia, the magnesium casing IS a selling point in the sales literature.

Hahahaha! Oh yeah, you are real sharp...name calling. Are you really 29? Yeah? Is that in years or months? Who's more the man-girl? The man-girl or the one who resorts to calling him one?

You know after reading your posts, it seems that 1) you may actually own a TSX ( yeah, they to sell to whoever can plunk down the $) so that 2) you may actually be a woman. In that case, since i'm a gentleman, I will defer your perspective. But if you are really a guy, then put em up jr.! C'mon, feelingonmyselfgood13, let's see what you got!

how about, if you own an AT, it's a woman's car, but if you drive the 6spd, it's a MAN's car, baby. because real men don't drive automatics.

Lets leave the AT vs. MT argument for the dozens of threads already on that topic.

so i ask you, what's in a name?
Hmmm.. what if i named my TSX Carl...and gave him a nice thick black front visor... mmmmmm yum...

All gayness aside, I really don't see that many females driving the tsx compared to guys. But even if we do, women make up for like 60% or more of car purchases (don't remember the exact value but i know its quite a bit more than men thus why volvo made a womens car and why lambo is even considering making a womens car) so we will be seeing women in a lot more cars no matter what they are. It's just power in numbers i guess.

I'd say a lot depends on color...imo, the TSX in RBP or Black is a very masculine and mean looking car..but in lighter colors like white or GBP I could see how it could be thought of as feminine...either way, it didn't factor into my buying decision and I couldn't care less what someone thinks of the car I drive...I'm driving it cause I like the car...nuff said :-)

Definitely not a feminine car, but my girlfriend does have one. I actually suggested that she buy that car because it's practical (4 door) and looks great for the price range she was looking at. It includes everything that you would want (leather, moonroof, heated seats, xenons, 17s) out of a 25K car, except of course NAVI. Other than the engine being a 4 cyl., it's a great car for the money and I think it looks better and sounds better than saying you own a Honda Accord, which always conjures pictures of the family and kids...

I found out he was banned because he was making negative comments to all my threads, all day long. And while I kept posting, CGTSX was right along watching as he posted his negative comments. One thing led to another, justice was served. He's banned for a month apparently. However, if he tries to make another account, he's perma banned, and if he comes back in a month with the same rotten attitude, he'll be perma banned.

1. Don't let trolls get to you.
2. He was banned a few days ago.
3. Don't get personal
4. Lets keep the AT vs. MT battles to existing threads, like this (and don't forget to vote in that poll).

Good Day..

Yep, it's definitely a feminine car, just like the Civic, Jetta and Sonata.

On the other hand, TL looks masculine and aggressive.

When you see a TL next to a TSX, it appears like the TL is saying to the TSX, "you know who wears the pants in this relationship"...LOL

So men wear the pants in all relationships huh? Is that what you're saying? What if there are relatioships where woman where the pants? Wouldn't that put some people in a position of desire in respect to the TSX?
