Damn.......I am 100% SURE it is a WOMAN'S car due to my previous cars - which have all turned out to be chick cars:
-89 Civic Hatch
-93 Civic Hatch
-93 Prelude Vtec
-99 Civic SI
-98 Jetta
-04 Jeep Liberty
-06 TSX (on order)
I came to grips with the fact that I love chick cars long ago......does not bother me.

Some dude likely ordered up a pink Mopar E-body in the 70's got laughed at by everyone in the hood, and if he kept till the '90s likely sold it for $500,000 to 1-mil easy.
Yes this is rare example, just shows colors and cars are fads.
And what's so wrong with a baby blue Miata?

Honestly do you really care if the guy driving next to you on the road thinks you have a girl car?
You can just laugh and assure yourself that you made a solid purchase in the ACURA.
After all when you are bitching cause you have to replace the water pump and timing belt, just remember those ruff rugged guys who bought the American muscle car will be spending thousands on costly engine repairs, and trying to keep their car running.
I don't at all think the TSX was a bad purchase.
After all its a long ass way from a minivan.

Same s*** when he insulted Jason about his Sponsor decals. He definitely doesn't act his age. Doubt he's even 29. Like I said before, if he's 29, he's got some growing up to do.
And if you're going to complain about how feminine the TSX, sell your car and go buy yourself something else because everyone else thinks likewise.

I think when people call the TSX a girl's car because it is designed kinda similar to the TL and since the TL is bigger it makes the TSX look like a girl car. I see a 50/50 drivers of the TSX and TL as far as the G35 coupe I kinda get annoyed when I see a chick driving that.

Whatever...I picked the TSX girls car or not...but my wife really liked it after she saw but had no idea what a TSX was prior. Besides...she's still hell-bent on getting a Murano.

True the TSX doesn't have very aggresive styling, but that can be changed. I didn't do much to my car so far, only a drop and body kit, and I think the girly image is gone for the most part.

Not that anyone asked me, but... I tend to put a bit of a feminine persona on my cars anyway... so, maybe I'm not the best person to ask.
To me, though, the car has nice sleek body lines to it. I prefer the front-end of the '04 and '05 models to the '06, but that's probably just me. (I have an '04, so I guess I'm biased! hehe) To me, what they did with the lower front fascia (for the fog lights) kind of busied-up the look of the front end. I preferred the look of the fake, non-functional air vents to the lines and angles they created to put the fog lights down there.
Speaking of the front-end, to me, the way the headlights and grille come together, it has a bit of aggressive 'scowl' to it. I wouldn't call that particular feminine OR masculine, as I've seen members of both sexes get similar looks on their faces.
For me, my TSX will always be a girl... Most days, I call her Angel... and I'm ok with that. Who cares what other people think?

many males, i'd say 99% of those that name their cars, give them female names.
lets use this cheesy movie for example:

Which is why i asked the question as to why others would think it was feminine. I guess i was curious if someone was going to point out something i never thought of like the lights or the wheels or the grill ect..ect.. that led them to believe it was girly.
either way thanks for everyones feedback.

If you see a woman driving a GT3, does that make it a chick car? I think not. It just means she's got good taste

i get that "TSX is a woman's car" from one person at work; the rest think it's just flat out sexy. and it is. look at its smooth styling; nice and curvy, nothing really disproportionate.
how about, if you own an AT, it's a woman's car, but if you drive the 6spd, it's a MAN's car, baby. because real men don't drive automatics.

your google skills leave much to be desired.

Even on campus of the 5 TSX's only two were driven by males.
Now in chicago I've seen 1 TSX so far with a male driver... mainly older women.

Sometimes people will give you a hard time about your car no matter what you drive....
So to prove to everyone that your car is masculine you could always get bumpernuts...

I agree, it's all in the owner. They make so many aftermarket parts for the TSX you can make look anyway you want.
