Maybe a MOD will transfer this to the MEETS Forum and see how many cars we can get, REMEMBER we need to get a headcount or approx before approaching someone...maybe february or march...spring meet major and a TSX local one sooner

the Expo center.
I think we should really try and see if we can unite everyone that wants to meet with those from that are going to the Expo center..We'd be much larger in numbers.

WOW! small world ...I went to Nova too - BSME but I'm an "old" dude graduated in '72 ...that's 1972 not 1872. I know exactly of where you speak. I love that Costa Auto repair across the street from Sun Valley Pizza. While Ardmore Acura still services our relatively new TSX, my old bomb '89 Legend is only serviced by Dick Costa and sometimes my '95 Supra too, depending on what it needs.
Thank you for hosting my blatant local advertising
my edit: A meet would be fun. But for me, it's not so easy to squeeze in with the family and my two boys 9 & 10yo keep me too busy. But I'll keep an eye out for the final details and make it if at all possible.

Funny you bought at Ardmore, when I was shopping for my TSX, they had a red 6mt navi, with 12k miles on it, for $500 off sticker! This is in Spring '04. Also, they didn't want to give me the time of day (I assume because I was 22), so I went to Metro Acura by the airport and the nudey bars, and bought a new TSX for $1250 off from a cute little blonde chick.
BTW, are you watching the BB team this year? We were looking real strong up until the 2nd half of the WV game. Hopefully they will recover and be strong against Rutgers. I was the 2nd class in like 10 years to not see a tourney game my whole time at Nova, so I'm particularly enthused about the team.

Also bought my TSX from Ardmore because they gave me the best price. The sales manager actually asked me what I wanted to pay and made it happen.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I don't think I could make a meet up in North Jersey. Although I do travel up there for work often it might be hard for me to convince my wife to leave the fam for a car meet. If we could have one more centrally located (PA/NJ/DE) it might be a little more inclusive and better populated.

It is my understanding that according to a long standing TSX tradition, if it is someone's first "meet" he has to bring the meat ...burgers and dogs and accessories. I like mustard, relish, and ketchup

Sounds like a couple of us "locals" could just meet up in the Villanova parking lot and have our own little tailgate party I've been partial to Asahi beer lately ...very fine japanese beer goes well with the TSX; not the dark Asahi which might also be good but I haven't tasted it, I mean the pale one.
PS: my edit: if not before, then when the weather breaks a nice central location could be New Hope ...we could all have a nice lunch and cruise around the long and winding roads up there ...or go a bit further up north and do a group tubing trip down the Delaware; I would bring my kids too. A post tubing picnic at the launch site works, and they have plenty of secure parking.

PS: a PA question
I don't know if the person posts here, but I often see ...like this morning just before 9am... a nice TSX, I think it's white but I'm not sure I'm remembering that correctly, get off the PA turnpike at Willow Grove; the car has a great looking aftermarket dual exhaust, lowered, etc. Is it anyone here?

I think I've seen the same one you're referring to. I posted it in the sightings thread but I don't think they ever responded. It was white with Intake and exhaust (looked big like Greddy), and had a Phila. College of Pharmacy sticker on the back window.
p.s. I think this thread has been hijacked so many times by us PA folk the FAA is gonna get involved!
