TSX Commercial

Just saw the new TSX commercial. At least I think its new. Guy driving a silver TSX on a 2 lane highway with lots up ups and downs. He takes the hill crests a bit fast and the TSX leaves the ground about a foot or so. Slow motion shot inside shows his coffee, papers, etc. drifting up and then back down. Pretty cool. Better than the cat and dog chase IMHO.

Sorry if its a

Opinions?

Haven't seen that TSX commercial myself... so I'd believe it's new too, but then I don't watch a whole lot of TV to begin with.

Anyway, it sounds cool... should be way better than the cat and dog one

Anyone knows of any link to the said commercial clip, please free feel to share here

I found it intresting, I love seeing the tsx advertised. Intresting enough the show said this show is paid by acura, tl and some thing about their luxury, while a tsx commercial is followed..

As for the commercial, it's nice. But not really striking though. Still, it's ok.

I'd like to see one done in similar style but focuses on TSX real-life handling ability.

Thanks Sclass88 for the link!

It's old. Came out month(s) before the 2005 models came on.
Actually surprised to see it again after all these months.

Just saw it yesterday for the first time too. Great commercial. Funnny thing happened this morning on the way to work. The coffee I had popped up out of the cup just like in the commercial only it didn't fall back in the cup. Instead it landed all over my pants and shirt

Take anymore corners at 53mph lately?

No, but funny thing. I took a left pretty quick, maybe around 35-40MPH and I lost it. VSA kicked in and things got ugly. The back end came around but it felt like the front was stopped. Of course I was still moving. But the car did almost stop in the middle of the intersection.

VSA = off in spirited driving.

Was it wet out?

I had that happen to me on a rainy day when I was trying to catch a light to make a left turn. VSA kicked in and saved my ass from nailing the volvo in the other turn lane...

Lol, I took my car over to the best road in the world the other day (Macauthur blvd) the other day and the VSA kept flashing like crazy... it was simply amazing... if anyone is in the DC/VA/MD area you should DEF take your car over there and film it and it is totally commercial worthy...

S-curve after S-curve after S-curve...

Where is this exactly? And would you be interested in getting together with a few other TSX drivers to drive this sometime?

Hey, hell yeah..

Its a short ride but as a photo shoot it would be amazing. Maybe only half a mile, but my god I LOVE it... and to get to it you get a straight away good for speed... as long as there arn't any cops around

Depending on where you are coming from either get off Key Bridge and take a left, go down canal until you pass the Chain Bridge. (You can just get off Chain Bridge as well and just make an illegal left at the light.) Nice 1/2 mile right there and then keep right until the road T's. If you take a right at the T, thats the best section of Macauthur. If you want a longer drive take a left and drive up a bit then U it and come back.

I know exactly where you're talking about now...just slipped my mind...thanks for the reminder.

And yeah, we should do a meet sometime with a cruise. The last meet turned into a mini-meet so we should do a big, beginning of summer bash to kick off the summer season.

I would be all about the meet... someone should get on it soon

I'm fairly new to the forum and a relative to the modding but all the same... lol

It def seems like there are enough people in the NoVA/DC/MD area. If it was planned somewhere the MD people could get to easily it would be pretty kick ass. Maybe a crusie up to the Skyline drive if people wanted a drive

btw...

It's not bad. I've only driven it once in recent memory, but yeah, it's way too short.

The problem is that all the fun roads are a good distance away and unfortunately, this area isn't like LA where there are coastal mountains and inland ranges with lots of winding roads to drive.

But we'll set up a meet for may, possibly a cruise meet for june, and then an install meet for july. We'll see. Go ahead and start a thread about it and we'll see what we can figure out.

And it's nice to see the occasional ad for the TSX, too.

Not to mention increasing my post count, since quantity counts, right? And, BTW, what's a PW?

I've seen about every single Acura video on that site but one of my favorite non-Acura videos is the Honda Accord Coupe video. Its a 6-speed so its emphasized throughout the shot. Here's a link to it so check it out. I LOVE the music in the background.
