TSX colors...
Does anyone know the rough percentages of the TSX colors out there? If you don't can you rank them from most common to least common. Right now I am deciding between Carbon Grey and Arctic blue. Which one is more popular? Which one looks worse when dirty? Which one would you recomend? I really like them both.... If I was to get the carbon grey should I go with the quartz or ebony? If you have any good pictures of the quartz please post them. Thanks for any help.
Carbon Gray is more popular. Probably 1/3 to 1/2 of the members here have CG. You only see a few Artic Blue's, but they are nice too. It's just a matter of preference. You gotta get what YOU want and what YOU like. Here's a ton of awesome pics of CG and quartz interior. Thank Wiz for these.....

I'm getting CG/Ebony soon.

In general, darker colors look dirtier when dirty (and nicer when clean
).
The ABP is an unusual color that may look dated in a few years. Remember those teal cars from the late 80s/early 90s?

Lots of people say the blue will look dated in a few years, I don't quite understand why but I will take your word for it. I am leaning towards the CG. It just looks so good! The only thing that keeping me back is that it is such a popular color. I would hate to see a million of them on the road.

I waited and thought a while on a color for a TSX for myself. The TSX looks great in just about all color combos (still wish there were more though). I wanted an ebony interior because I am rough on a car (briefcases/laptop cases thrown all over the place all day) and I thought the ebony would survive the best. The parchment looks more luxurious IMO but it wouldn't last for my needs. I wish the wood was a deeper color as well like in this link:

The darker wood/ebony interior looks great BTW IMO. On the exterior, if I wanted the ebony interior I liked NBP, SSM and CGP. The SSM looks great and would probably be the easiest to take care of. The CGP was nice but a little too bland/blueish for me. I ended up going with NBP. Yeah, it will be tough to keep clean but SSM wasn't available soon (my first choice) and when the NBP is clean, it looks great. I liked the PWP a lot and it may have been my first choice but in the US the ebony interior wasn't available. So that left my choices in this order:
SSM
NBP
CGP
PWP (would have 1st or 2nd with an ebony interior)
ABP (I don't like blueish cars usually but this is a nice color, true it may look dated in a few years though)
MSM (too baby blue for my tastes)
MR (just don't like red in sedans)
NBP is available within the next two weeks so I'm awaiting a NBP/ebony auto/no nav as we speak. I told the dealer if a SSM/ebony pops up, I'd be more than willing to take that instead.
All in all, the car looks great in all colors. It's a personal choice that you have to live with. Good luck and enjoy whatever color you get.

Nomatter what color you get, it will never be one of a kind. So why settle for a color you didn't want because an extra 2-3 hundred people have it. Just pick what you like the most, and don't worry about what everyone else has. If you want exclusivity, either get a custom paint job, or a ferrari.
it basically comes down how much you want your car to stand out. If you want to blend in and be like pretty much every car around go with the silvers or CG....but if you want to stand out aliitle more and get more looks not to mention sportier looking...go with the ABP.
oh and as for the "looking dated" statment....does a 99 civic SI in blue look dated(i doub it) or a RSX tpe s??? not the smae blue but close enough and they look like brand new. Just keep it clean with some tire juice!

that figuar is totally diff here in Canada
at least here in Van...
here in Canadah we have ebony w/ PW as eveyone knows
i think 80% of the tsx out there are PW..... as it is the best
looking colour imo.. but i like my NHB just fine

i've noticed SSM is getting pop these days as well
i've gotten many compliments with a CG/ebony combo. of course, you should always choose what suits you best. NHB is always nice, but is hard to keep clean. SSM is a little plain for me since silver has become too trendy (maybe it's a SoCal thing). AB or MR = gimme a ticket! personally, i try to stay under the radar.

in my honest opinion, with absolutly no offense to anyone, SSM is such a plain, boring color. In my mind it brings the car down so much. I have PWP, and don't mind the Parch. interior, but White really brings the fine lines of the car out. Black looks pretty good to, but those fine lines our car has don't come out as well. Arctic Blue is different, I like it, but I think the best color is Carbon Grey. It's sporty, not too dark, but not light as well. Easy to keep clean, looks great WHEN clean, and is beautiful on the car. In my opinion...
1.) CG
2.) PWP (really need an Ebony option though!!)
3.) Arctic Blue (yes, might get old)
4.) NHB (hides the nice lines of the exterior)
5.) Milano Red (Not a fan of red, with the only exception a 360 Modena.)
6.) MSM (don't like silver on the car, but this one is different, stands out more
7.) SSM ( I may have different tastes, but that silver is just too plain i think)
So yeah, just my

I really like the CG. I originally wanted ebony, but after seeing those pics with the CG and quartz I decided to get that combo. I like the contrast with the black upped dash, the silver strip and the quartz interior. Looks hot ---
Well, agreed on a deal this morning. Auto no-nav. Dealer hit my lease number on 1st try (he only knew ball-park). couldn't resist. didn't even drive anything else. (former '94 gs-r owner)
They are trying to locate for me, in my order of preference
1. Blue (wish they had parchment option)
2. Black/parch
3. Carbon Gray/ ebony
My four year old recommended blue :-). Only have it for 3.5 years, so, I'm not worried about getting tired of the color
(I have a gray lustre/gray int Max now, didn't want the same). He was trying to get my into a quartz interior)

I wish they had a dark red color, like the one the RSX is offered in. That looks so much better than the candy red Milano Red. Bar none though, the best car colors out there are all the cool metallics BMW offers.
