Did you just drive up to Kingmotorsports for the Hondata?

I was wondering if I could do that with our TSX.

no i didn't drive to kingmotorsports, i got it through jeramy and kindle racing, what he does is send you 2 shipping labels and you yourself (or the dealer or someone) takes out the ecu, immobliizer, and a key. then fill out the hondata paper, then put all the paperwork, ecu,key,immobilizer, and the other shipping label (from hondata back to you). it took me 1 hr to take everything out, and 45 to put everything back in..........

btw, i recommend everyone to get hondata, it is amazing, as i said before somewhere else on the forum, hitting 7600rpm, the joy of it, all but pays for the mod. of and comptech rear sway bar too.....hehehe....

Last week at a car meet this guy who has an RSX type S, first took me on a cruise with his Injen CAI, DC Headers and Borla Exhaust down the expressway. Very very nice, esp. Borla, anyways...When we got back to this car meet we went off to the side in a huge empty parking lot so he could show me his Comptech sway bars and the Tein coilovers and how well the car handled and responded. WOW very nice.
Well as we were pulling out of the parking lot a cop pulled right up to us...
luckily he just chewed my friend out for "driving like an idiot"

But man o man, those sway bars were niiiiice

Actually I ended up feeling really bad when he got pulled over. He was driving on 3 tickets already! (speeding, following to close, loud exhaust)
the cop threatened to arrest him.

but... luckily he just gave him a warning

now back to those sway bars I wish my car pulled like that!

yea, of course, i am not a street racers, but a friendly follow the leader i wouldn't mind, its up to you guys, and i don't plan on meeting johnny law.

also i will also be one of the youngest ones there and i know that is might be akward, but hey we all got a tsx in common. and i meant that moda_way had the first ride cause he mentioned it first, i personnaly don't care who is gonna get a ride, as long as i can get a ride in a tsx with exhaust.... i am dying to see one in person and hearing it inside and out.

Sort of off-topic, but... speaking of driving fast and crazy, would any of you Chicago-area people be interested in taking your Acura to an autocross or two this summer? There are a few events coming up in the area that I'm looking to go to... it would be nice to have some company. Shoot me a pm if you are interested, I guess.

Why PM post when and where on the board let the people know!!! I might be interested by I fear my Accord may not be up to Auto-x standards. I just don't see the engine doing to well out of the whole or any sharp turns.

To those with an interest: there is an autocross on July 31 at Burlington, Wisconsin. This is like an hour-and-a-half drive from Chicago. I think I will go, if just to escape the city.

All you need is a driver's license, a car and $20. You should definitely come. They are fun even just to watch.

Yeah, I just put my trunk shock mod in last night for the meet. Won't be able to do the Oil Catch Can in time though. To much to do before I leave ole Cincy.

same here, i ordered an injen filter, but the delivery date is monday, i need to replace that it has about 30,000 and i still didn't clean it, i know i know, and its most likely robbing me of my much needed horses........

and yea i got no time to wax the car, at this point a good old fashion hand wash should be enough
