TSX Chicago area meet last weekend in July!
 

Anyone up for a 3rd annual Chicago-WI Area TSX meet?

Moda_Way and I had been thinking last week in July.....

And I could show up with a TSX for once :P

sure... although i haven't done anything to my car yet... maybe I can be the only stock TSX?

Are you talking July 29 or 30? If so, I'm in! I can't do it earlier, though.

I'd rather plan on SAT but if we have to do 30th that would be ok too with me.

My wife's TSX is bone stock save for the Sirius install.

Either that Saturday or Sunday works for me. My TSX is stock also.

Crap, i've gotta attend a wedding that weekend!

I'm in, hehe I'm 17 so I'll have to check it by the parents first... count me in though!

Either date is fine for me, but I'd prefer that Sat. too since I'm coming up from Cincy.

I have a possible conflict, but I think it will resolve itself and I should be able to make it.

Well Moda I've found from many years getting people to leave the PC and go meet others in real life, is just a bad idea. Why leave the house and meet other TSX'ers-automotive enthuiasts face to face.

God forbid any of us attend a race either..........

No, just bummed in general at the time. Still bummed that the meet will likely have 5 attendees and that TSX will be in the minority.....

I say 11am at the place you specify, hang out for any hour or so to snap some photos then head somewhere for lunch.

I'm lazy we should eat and have lunch at the same place, or area.

If we don't get too big we could easily hide out at the back of the Ikea parking lot in Schaumburg. Or we could park in the Lexus or Porsche offices in Naperville that would be funny.

Okay, so we'll go to the outer part of the IKEA parking lot.

We've pretty much said 11am unless someone brings up a reason to make it later.

We'll do lunch in the area as well.

And just to clarify it's the Ikea in Schaumburg just off of I-355 near Golf Rd.

They are building a second Ikea South of Naperville (don't go here) also near I-355 & I-55. But it's taking awhile, building an entire second store with allen keys and a screwdriver takes time.

No, meet at IKEA for about an hour or so and then go somewhere else to eat, though IKEA does have food, it isn't anything great.

I have never been in that store. So dont know about the food situation. Is it Swedish food? hehe

next summer mine will be with new wheels and springs, but only a little for now

If you read back through, there are a few TSXs showing up. I have Exhaust, brakes, and springs as well as the resonator being removed. So I'm not mod heavy, but others may be.

Slow day in the office so I thought I'd see how this was progressing...

Based on the last couple of questions, it looks like I'll be bringing my stock TSX... Unless I can get something on it in the next few weeks... :wish:

After much proding and poking by MrChad, I'll be showing up with new ES100s.

Our TSX has Sirius SAT Radio and a custom formed lower radiator core support brace. :P

Before the meet might be a good time to do a Kenwood iPod hardwire install me thinks :)

Else our TSX is very stock, but from those who have been to other meets you have seen my Accord coupe, which is not. Plus We have only had our TSX for 6mo. we've had the Accord going on 6 years, give it some time.

Nah, it's stock except for the 3m clear bra. I was kidding about bringing that car. Should I come in my G or borrow my sister's stock TSX which she's already agreed to?
