TSX 'R' US

So how about we just invite members of this board and any others that have friends who drive TSXs?

If we start saying a few TLs, RSXs, etc is ok, how many is that? If everyone invites one or two friends who drive an RSX or whatever, there's probably going to be more other cars than TSXs there...

Wow...thanks Chad and Moda for pointing me in the right direction. Where the hell has this thread been hiding?? You guys know we have a "meet" subsection?! I'm actually glad I wasn't here, as I just read the entire post and had to rehash you guys bickering.

Also, I, as many of you know, have a lowly Accord and not a TSX. (Don't rub it in--I'm working on it) So, if you don't want me there in my lowly Accord (CHAD!!) I will stay my butt home in Wisconsin where people don't drive with newpapers open on their steering wheels on the expressway.

So, unless I hear that because I am an Accord I am uninvited, I'll be there.

P.S. Who was talking about the Ikea being built with Allen wrenches and a screwdriver? I almost bust a gut. Too funny....

And I may be able to get the mighty Cord out for the meet, if the wife drives the TSX to the meet the Accord could show up. Altough I'd rather see you ride the RR in and leave Frank driving the Accord.

The Accord tranny would rate much better for towing then our TSX's. However, since the TSX has more ponies it should logically doing the towing, but as far as I know unlike the Accord, the TSX doesn't come factory wired for towing does it? My Accord for some dumb reason has an OEM tow kit wire harness under the carpet in the trunk. I know it's factory too b/c I got the car directly off the truck in plastic new in '00. I found the wire harness later on one summer when cleaning the trunk.

Man I hardly ever drive the Accord anymore...I should drive to the meet just to put mileage on it to justify an oil change this year.

Nothing stopping you from doing the same to yours? Sell the 3rd car and use it to pay for the mods...And you can get engine donor goodies for yours...

And it's not over the top or anything. Plus my bumper need repainted anyhow from stone chips and the like. But after 4 years on the body kit you have to expect some wear.

Our TSX is a much nicer complete package out of the box then my Accord, my Cord wouldn't have been such a nice driver had the CL and TL type-S models not come along to be parts donors. But, when I started working on the Accord the TSX wasn't likely on the Honda radar just yet.

But being my first true car and my only new car to date I'm not willing to give it up just yet. I might be persuaded to drive it to the meet so it can park with you, but I'm not sure I'll have the time to wash and wax both cars by then.

You'd be the biggest hypocrit if you show up with that Accord. It is extremely nice, but how much have you been saying this is a TSX meet??

I mean, I'm game for everyone else bringing whatever, but you MUST show up with the TSX.

Who has a cai or hondata who's coming? I've got the handling dialed in to where I want it, now I'm dyin' to know what these mod's feel like from inside the car... also, anyone who want's to experience 18" Yoko's and A-Spec would be more than welcome...

I have no resonator (air intake side), Comptech Exhaust, Comptech Springs, K&N drop in filter, TB coolant bypass and LEDs inside and out.

I forget who is showing up with Hondata, but it is in this thread.

i WILL be coming to the meet, and i am the one with hondata, and cai, and...well look at the sig...............unless something unexpected happens i will be there.

also firedc5, with a rsx-s (non rice) wants to come, if its ok with everyone else he will bring his rsx, (take my word on it, you will love it) but he might make it a few hours late, if we still will be hanging around......

I was thinking of getting the little kid next door to drive the TSX up to the meet. I'll ask his mom if it's ok, he's pretty good at running the big wheel around the block. That or I was going to tow it behind the Cord.
