Are you calling 20's and 30's old? Get the address for Ikea in Schaumburg from google. Look for the group of us 20-30somethings in the lot drinking Ensure and loading walkers into our TSX trunks.

Hey guys I going down to Gingerman on 13th do some track timing with my Tsx and a friend who's got a 96 4wd mits. Should be fun and it's only 60 dollars from 5:30 'till track closing.I did it last year with a bone stock tsx now it should be very different.

 

got clearance from the wife to go... anyone know a nice (modest priced) hotel in the area with a pool? btw- i still say RAM...

Help me out, what is RAM? The TSX meet we had in August of 03 was at a movie theatre in Barrington and there was another one last year, but being that I don't live in Chitown either, I'm unfamiliar with what RAM is.

BTW, I love the clearance comment.

MrChad would know of a good place b/c he stayed in a hotel in that area for the 1st Chicago TSX meet (prior to now living there).

 

RAM is a cool conglamoration of club/restaurant/sportsbar in the same shopping center in Shrambourg (sp?), which would be great if it's open that early. That is, if it's anything like the one I went to in Seattle...

 

I think for now we'll leave it as IKEA, but that sounds like a good back-up area in the event we need cover.

 

whatever works... i just have to throw out options... BTW- I have about 2000 miles on the es100s and I love them

 

30th? Dangit, can't make that day! RAM is good food. Y'all will enjoy. Maybe I'll send some of my team mates there. I'm betting our M3 guy would go cause he likes to hit up all kinds of meets. He'll be my personal spy. hahahaha

A lot of people like to do meets at the Hooters in Schaumburg as well. Right outside of Woodfield Mall. Next time, I guess! Maybe I can bring both my TSX and my CRX out some other time.

 

i might be out of town, i'm not 100% sure. if i'm not out of town i will be there, finally meet people from AZ, and when i was last year at a rsx meet we had it at portillos, which was good, except for the magnificent 35 degrees outside with 20mph winds.........

ps. i hope i can make it i would love to see/hear an exhaust on the tsx

The RAM is just down the street from IKEA

 

IKEA is the easiest to find and everyone knows where it is. If everyone would rather like to meet at Ram, then speak up. It would save having to drive over to find a place to eat.

Okay, I talked to MrChad, originator of the meet, and he reminded me why we didn't meet at a place with food... they wouldn't let us. Having said this, if the lot is still big enough and we aren't going to PO anyone, we can change the location to Ram. Can someone tell me what to look for since I really only know IKEA as a landmark there.

 

i'll try to be there, also put firedc5 on the list, my friend with the rsx-s, one sweet ride........ i'll find out if i can make it, if i can, i'll give you a ride, and anyone else that would like to, i do wanna coome, maybe i can work it out.......hmmmmmmmmmmmm
