TSX body kits
Hey guys im new to this so dont be to harsh. ive been a tsx owner for since dec 2004. i have an 05 tsx in satin silver. i was just wondering what you guys think of the jp vizage polyurethane body kit? is it any good? it seem like all the pictures i find online are the same 2 or 3 pictures.
also, does anyone have any idea how much prep work is needed before painting and installing? i kno with the fiber glass kits you need to do hours of sanding, but im not sure about urethane kits.
any help is appreciated----thanks

we dont like it.
it's what is called "rice."
the front lip is a no go.
the side will work if you put them with some other
front and back options.
honestly, you would better with either the OEM kit,
or with a Mugen kit, or a replica.
If you need to see examples, just ask.

mugen= way to expensive for me.
I also herd the replicas are cheap quality. and this may be a really stupid question but what is a "rice?" does everyone hate the vizage because of all the lines or because its poor quality?
how does the mugen replica look at fit?
I live in michigan. roads here are the worst of the worst. so im thinking fiberglass would prob not be a good way to go. thats why i thought urethane would be best.

I think what he means is it has an odd blend of aggressive and show that makes it "show off" ish.
We call it rice...stereotype for japanese car mods that make a mod to a japanese car look, well, stereotypical. Like the civic with retarded wing on it on the freeway? Or obnoxiously large exhaust? Stuff like that.
I don't know how ricey the JP kit is, but that lip looks a little overstyled, really deep, and it does not seem to complement the car that much. And I did contact my JP supplier and there is a mysterious unavailability of the items last I checked.
The best looking stuff is really the OEM Aspec or EuroR, Mugen, J's, Feel's, but none are cheap. OEM parts the most affordable are good because they fit perfect and come prepainted.

if you think it looks good then go for it. it really doesnt matter what other people think as long as you like how it looks. if everybody gets mugen and OEM kits then every tsx will look the same = POINTLESS

i do like the aggressive look that it has. the reason im asking is because ive never seen it in person or in good clear pictures. ive seen a few pictures but not enough to convince me that its just what im looking for. so if anyone has any pictures of the kit on a real car with a few differnt angles i would really apprecuate u posting them or posting a link for them.
