tsx auto window rollup

can you automatically roll up the windows using some function on the remote alarm ?
i know you can roll up or roll down all windows on the car by putting the key into the driver side hole and turning it in either direction and holding..

but i wondered if you can do this using the remote?

I wish we could do that......Its for safety reasons though. Wouldn't want to trap your child hand in there with the remote!

well if u want to do that u gonna have to get an aftermarket alarm to do that

i got my installer to do for my on my compustar

becuase basically all he has to do is buy something that holds that signal for u for an extend period of time

becuz the remotes that came with the car when u lock it snds a 1 sec signal while its needs at least a 10 sec signal to close the windows

so how my set up is now i hit my lock button on my compustar and then a second button which holds the lock button for 15 secs

so basically is like using ur key to lock it once and then lock and hold it until the windows goes up

Actually, you should check out this same feature on the TL. On the TL, the remote opens and closes, plus it is all the windows and the sunroof. It's pretty nifty. I'll bet most TL owners don't even know they have such a neat feature on their car.

holy frankenthread batman!

I don't think you're going to get an answer, given that it's been over a year since Bomboi's last post.

But... KPTechnologies makes a module that will do this for you and you can DIY install it now. A bunch of us just bought it during his group buy, and he says he'll have more for sale in a little while.

Like LoveMyTSX said, check out this thread:

I got the module and installed it in about half an hour (including taking the door off, making things look pretty behind the door and reinstalling the door..

The window can now be rolled up and even stopped on the way up - all from the key fob. Giggity giggity goo!

Does the TSX has the safety feature that stops a window from rolling up if it detects something is in the way, like a hand or finger? I know Volvo and alot of other cars have it....I would hate to roll up the windows on a passenger's hand.

The windows up module from KPTechnologies uses all the stock safety features. THE ONLY THING IT DOES is pass the same signal that is passed if you were to use the key to roll the windows up from locking the driver's door.

So... it has those features because the car already does. Test it out
