Tsx Or Accord Ex V6

Maybe you people can help me understand??

Why would you spend $26,500 for a new TSX when...
you can spend the exact $26,500 for a new V6 EX Accord???
The Accord has ALL the Standard features as the TSX plus what the accord has that the TSX does not have is the following...
- 60 more HP
- faster 0-60 time
-faster 1/4 mile time
- better road handeling
-Lighter then the TSX
-Accord is 6 MPH faster then the TSX at top speed
- and it has the traction control and all that along with the TSX
----- i got all my info from CAR and DRIVER.
the only thing that the TSX has that the Accord does not is standard 17 inch wheels and those cool HID lights.
the Accord is MUCH more powerful with a V6 260HP,,,
So why a TSX rather then a EX V6 Accord??????????

TSX drives better, tsx looks better, tsx is a more upper class vechicle. If you want more power then go with the accord if you want a slightly better car all around go with the tsx.
just my 2 cents.

Here's where you're wrong

The road handling of the Accord is signifanctly worse than the TSX. See the VTEC.net review comparing the two. The Accord pulls away in the straights, but the TSX consistently out turns it. The Accord also exhibits more understeer as well.

The Accord weighs 154 pounds more than the TSX (according to Edmunds.com specs).

Otherwise, here's what you need to compare:

If you want:
more power
quicker 0-60
bigger

get the Accord

If you want:
better handling
manual transmission
a few more "luxury features" (which total to about $1500 options)

get the TSX

Accord sedan is "butt" ugly (no pun intended). Accord coupe just looks like a bubble, with no character. I think someone describe it as the "Honda Solara", a car that wants to be sporty (big engine), but really isn't (soft suspension, no manual trans).

Not to be nit picking, but Accord Coupe does have Manual transmission.

You're definitely right about the soft suspension bit. Add no rear sway bar to the list while we're at it.

This thread reminds me of someone named adam_foolz.
