Trying to find a good deal on a TSX/IS300

So i have began to shop for my TSX or a IS300 yesterday since i can feel my old car is about to explode and i visited 3 dealerships,, all 2 of the dealerships had atleast 3 TSX's in stock while the other one had NONE!,,, anyway i test drove a Silver one with the aluminium trim, and mud guards wasnt the first time i test drove a TSX,,, then a half hour later i test drove the IS300 for the first time ever, and honestly there is very little difference in pick up, by the way they where both AUTOMATIC and anyway i didnt feel a difference really,,, OKAY so i was givin a price of 26,000 with the extended warranty free which is $1000 off the MSRP, if i where to buy the silver TSX from the lot that day. I really wanted a Black or Red TSX and also wanted atleast 2,000 off without the extended warranty and the salesmanager would not deal. so i left,
i went to LEXUS and they where offering a brand new 2004 RED IS300 loaded with a sunroof and everything for a MSRP of 31,400 now he was going to give me 3,000 yes 3,000 off the MSRP 28,400 which was a kick ass price for a new IS300,, he said he would keep that price for me for the next week,,,

I4 TSX- $26,000, extended warranty
V6 rear wheel drive IS300- $28,400

--got 1 week decide I DONT FUKIN KNOW?!?!?!?!

you know what he meant an I6 is better too imo. tough decision there bro, but get what you think you will enjoy more down the road. also, remember the new redesign IS300 is on its way and might make the current one look like crap, it was one of the reason i didnt get an is300.

thats true, thanks. i heard the new IS300 will be sweet but also that the price will jump like another 1,000
looks like the TSX will fit more in my budget, and im sure Acura will keep that style for the next 3-4 years. ill wait till the 2005's come out and then hope to get a good deal on a 04, if my 1991 toyota will last that long.

Not when they are all under the same AOL subnet. You'd block half the internet from getting access to the forum.

isn't that the case with the TSX as well? I already know how that is, with our TL-S...gets quite pricey. or were you just making the point of the TSX gettin better gas mileage, so less expensive for gas?

Exclamation The People vs. GOSPEEEED a.k.a. TSEAN a.k.a Okie a.k.a. TDOZZER

Exhibit A GOSPEEEED = TDOZZER

TDOZZER (http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...930#post115930)
i liek how the TSX is sporty and compact, IS300 is perfect BUT the interior really sucks and is so UGLY so forget about that, and doesnt have the same HID lights as the TSX,,,
GOSPEEEED
(http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...142#post126142)
Dont know weither to get a TSX or an IS300 such a hard decsion,,,,, the IS300 has the speed and handling but the interior is kinda ugly looking
Similarities:
- Trademark ,,,,
- Bitching about IS300 interior

TDOZZER (http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...930#post115930)
i need a new car i drive a 1991 infiniti G20 with 178,000 miles on it and i can tell the engine is just about ready to collapse so i wanna get rid of it before that happens.
GOSPEEEED
if my 1991 toyota will last that long.
Similarity: both driving shitbox cars from the same year that could break down at any second

Exhibit B GOSPEEEED = TSEAN

TSEAN (http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...718#post114718)
really i got 3,000 off the MSRP, after i went too 6 dealerships in So California, the 7th one made me the deal, they must have been desperate, it the whole negotiation process took 5min, so all u gotta do is keep going dealership to dealership throwing your price out,, oh yeah i paid the whole car off in CASH that might have helped
Okay so you people that put all these mod's on your new TSX usally total to a cost around 3-5 grand of not more ,,, Rims,Wheels,Body Kits, engine upgrades now why dont you take that money and buy a TL or a IS300? just dont understand, yeah you like the Style of the TSX but why spend extra $ money on a a tsx when you can upgrade your car for the same money u spent on MOD'S,,,,,,,,,,,
O yeah and if you do get a TSX the MOD you should get is the OEM Fog Lights and the Spoiler and maybe some new rims, thats it,,,,,,, other wise dont be a FOOL might as well buy a TL,

GOSPEEEED (http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...368#post127368)
Similarities:
-Both brag about their negotiating skills. TSEAN got $3000 off a TSX, GOSPEEEED got $3000 off an IS300.
-Trademark ,,,,,, and ending sentences with a ,
-Random CAPS words

Exhibit C GOSPEEEED = Okie

Okie (http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...516#post120516)
sorry to say but i sold my TSX today after 14 hours of posting an ad to privately sell it,, sold my Black TSX no navi with 9,800 miles for 24,500 the guy actually wrote me a check for the full amount,, i didnt really even sell it at a lose except for the Tax and lic. i paid but anyway i liked the TSX alot i just need a V6 so ill be driving my 93 Camry again till i find one, either gonna be an IS300 or a 04 TL or maybe ill wait a lil while a try to pick up a used 04 TL..... i already kinda miss my TSX im starting to have second thoughts but i cant look back, and when ever i do start looking back i just start to think how the front of the TSX looks like the Honda Oddeysee mini van ( and it really does )
Similarity to GOSPEEEED:
- Also has an old car this time it's also a Toyota product but its a couple years newer. Still he hates to drive it.
- Strangely enough he's also looking for a new IS300
- Could wait a while to pick up an '04 Acura when the new '05 models come out
- Trademark ,,
Bonus! TSEAN = Okie = TDOZZER just read this thread and tell me it's not obvious: http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...&threadid=8362

Seriously, I'm getting too old to play these games with trolls. If you want to mount your defense, I'll listen but I'm running out of patience (pun intended).

Dan the investigator has way too much time on his hands. But a good way to pad your PW numbers.

Seriously, lurk around the Lexus dealership and see if they have an MT IS300 they want to unload - and get more than 3K off. That would be a deal.

I think TDAN was making fun of this quote:

Let's do some crimial psychological diagnosis.

TSEAN, Okie, GOSPEEEED and TDOZZER are possibly:

1: true bothers whom were separated when they were born

2: having quadruple personality

3: schizophrenic sales representative from Lexus who is dying to sell his IS300

4: Morons
