Trunk release from the inside of the rear

Trunk release from the inside of the rear
So, it occurred to me while driving home from work this evening that I seem to recall the salesman who sold me my TSX that he mentioned that if I were to ever be locked inside the trunk, there's a quick release. He demonstrated it and I can't remember where it is.
Anyone know? It might be useful one day if I were to be locked inside and knowing that I can escape if I only paid attention! It would be kinda hard fumbling around in the dark not knowing where it is or what to expect - whether it's a pull string, a button or ???
And no, I haven't looked it up yet as I'm tired from a long day at work and thought I'd go the easy way out and kill two birds with one stone - namely informing others and also myself if a more knowledgeable TSX enthusiast would let us know.

A midget could be falling in and as they fell went to grab on to something and pulled the trunk closed locking themselves in...............
it could happen.
If it's a TSX, just pull the yellow tethers that let you into the back seat.

I think all new cars have this though I don't recall seeing it on my TSX. Maybe it's because the seats open into the car and they don't need both or something. I think the handle has to be glow in the dark too IIRC.

I guess you didn't pick up the word "escape" in my original post... implying that if for some inexplicable reason, someone were to carjack and lock me inside the trunk. Sheesh. Must I spell everything out!
What also prompted me to ponder about the trunk release is that I noticed I had to insert the key and turn one way for the right back seat to fold down and turn the other way for left side to fold down so I doubt that anyone who is locked in the trunk can simply push out the back seats.

Geeez guys, maybe we oughta organize a remedial Owner's Manual book club... Check page 40, and page 136. It's a safety device for children who might get locked into the trunk. It glows because a child probably couldn't find the tethers (also in the trunk; p. 141) to release the fold-down seats. Likewise if the rear doors have the child lockouts engaged, a child would have to battle to the front seats for any hope of egressing the car.
Hence, the safety release.
I know, I know ... most adults without children blow right through those pages without a second glance. Just yankin' y'all's chain.
BTW, the manuals are online and linked in the FAQ thread(s), I believe.
